see attached I signed a contract on June 23rd with ******* for work to begin on August 9th 2021. On August 3rd I reached out to ******* and asked him if we are still on for the 9th and he said yes. When *******'s men showed up they did not have the supplies they needed to start the demo so they left. The came back the next day and demo the bathroom. The following Wednesday and Thursday no one showed up and ******* did not call us to say anything. On Friday he came after 6PM dropped off supplies and left returning the Saturday and did a few things in the plumbing area. ******* did not show up on Monday the 16th for that entire week, no calls or text, I had to text him. On Friday I had enough so I called him and told him how I felt and the fact that if he is not finish with the bathroom by the end of the contract date he need to give me my money back. He said okay. He showed up two more days and that was it. I asked for my money back and he said he's charging us for the plumbing.

      Business response

      10/19/2021

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/15) */ Good I'm respond to this letter this is totally lie I already did a 50% work done all the demo, plumbing and electrical and **** is the one she decided to take me out of the work because I was sick and all time I text her and did call her to her know the situation yo can check my reviews I am a Professional and she want to hurt me writing bad reviews and report me here. We did more work like suppose to be for the amount she paid before. And she is the one need to paid us for the damage she cause. With all this situation after she call me to say ******* you need to take all your stuff out of my house. I didn't left the job, she cancel. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/09/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Mr. ******* is claiming to be such a professional and all we've felt throughout this situation is disrespect and lack of care for our home. I understand that situations come up but to demo a project and not do any work AT ALL for two weeks is unacceptable, in addition to showing up at random times and not coming when you say you would. It got to a point where it was unbearable to be told he's coming then having to message to ask if he's showing up and only after the fact of calling or messaging to ask where he is, he then gives an excuse as to why he's not coming or would be there soon to show up HOURS later. This project went from a projected two to three weeks then ran into a fourth then fifth week. With all the delays and NO SHOWS I estimate 5 days of work which weren't even all Full days. I took days from work to be present when some work was to be done only for no one to show up. After all this, having a licensed contractors and our project manager look at the work done so far we're told some of the work would have to be redone to be correct. The back wall in the shower area is not straight, the drains for the shower is wrong, the duroc that was mounted is not fastened to regulation and the location for the sconces above the vanity is set up too low. The electrical is far from finished as he is claiming and some of the plumbing has to be redone. ******* is claiming that we owe him money while we've been inconvenienced for TWO EXTRA WEEKS more than projected and God knows for how much longer. ******* was told on the 20th of August if he won't be able to do the project give us our money back and we could get someone else. He apologized stating that he had too many projects going on as he is in the middle of finishing up another project so we will be his priority. I told him he could have rescheduled to start at a later time than originally discussed when I text him on August 4th to confirm. There is only so many chances you could give someone to realize that you're being taken advantage of or slighted. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2021/09/27) */ Good I understand the situation but in this moment you decide to take a decision to keep us to working in your bathroom and I know everything is done right the plumbing and electrical if you say everything is wrong I want to see a video of the plumbing and electrical demo. Doing again the work I did because I know my work is correct. The demo cost and labor done plumbing, wall framing, durock installation and electrical that work is more expense and the money is already use for that labor cost we don't return money for the labor done. If you want to me finish my work there I'm here to help or others way we don't return money for the work done. God blessed your intentions to hurt us because you know everything done is correct. You never told us you have a project manager because I never talk with someone else you talk directly to me. You can see in the estimate you have everything done except tile, paint, vanity and toilet installation that no cost more 1,500 and if you read you have change order for the new wall and the plumbing we did to build a new wall is not in the contact and that labor costs 1,200 more is not in the contract you can read in the contract all the change order need to be pay. I don't want to continue argument in something I don't have a fault. You decide to take me out . Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2021/09/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) You are not worthy to be working on anyone's house. I will have the licensed and certified electrician write a statement for this and show the actual work that was supposed to be done by you and you never did it. You ran wires and left them in the boxes pretending you did something knowing nothing was ever done. The lights in the ceiling are not there, the new outlets not there either and absolutely no electrical was done. Second the plumbing that again I will send a video to the BBB when it is demoed and redone with PVC not plastic PEX tubes you used for our shower and vanity lines. Who removes PVC and used 1/2 inch PEX pipe? The head for the handheld shower is not even done correctly, when screwed in it went all the way to the wall so tell us exactly how you planned on connecting it after the tiles were installed? The wall framing you did we never spoke about installing new lumber, you said you are going to purchase more pieces of the wood like the ones that were already there to increase the dept of the wall to move the drain waste vent. I even told you I had some in the garage from a previous bathroom project. When I arrived home there were over 10 pieces of lumber in the bedroom, I had no idea what they were for until I saw your guy installed a few pieces incorrectly. That's when I knew what you were doing so do not mentioned any new walls to me because we never spoke about that (even so if you are going to make changes that is something you discuss prior and an agreement is made). You are there trying to add a bunch of charges to make it seem as though you taking our money is justified but it is not. The durock is not complete anyone can see that you did one wall in the shower when there should have been two walls and one wall by the tub. I told you from the beginning I have an architecture engineer project manager, that is who designed the bathroom you even asked for the system she used to design it so now you are saying you didn't know I have one? I do not want you back at my house to finish anything. I rather not have a bathroom than continue with your crocked service. As soon as my new contractor demo the bathroom AGAIN and the electrician does the electrical and project manager finish the inspection I will send a video of the before and after to the BBB as well and their statements on the work that was previously done. Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2021/10/06) */ Good you can do wherever you want but we don't refund money already paid for service performance there. When you decide to get us out. That money cover the days already worked there and the time. If you say you have a engineering or project manager why you do not give us a blue print with the specifications of pipes or electrical blue print. I now We did right and you want to demo just for hurts us and ask for money. One more time we don't refund money for work done that money is already paid employee labor. Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2021/10/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) There's no point in going back and forth with you. I'll see you in court.
