      I had a 2-night reservation at this property. We walked in to the unit smelling of sewer gases and excrement, high ammonia levels. We called customer service line (no representative on site) After 45 mins a gentleman showed up with ******* and acknowledged the unit was rancid but unfortunately nothing could be down to fix the faulty P-Trap. No other unit was available for a switch. The windows in the unit are screwed shut so we couldn't even open them for some fresh air. We were out for the day on the 2nd day and upon our return the smell was even worse than the previous day. It was difficult to breathe and couldn't spend much time in the bathroom with the pungent gases emanating. I booked through Orbitz and they could not reach the property after numerous attempts for a refund/compensation. GREENVIEW is refusing to speak with them to verify their representative (****) entered in the system compensation was required. Instead, they only want to communicate with me to offer me a meager $70 credit.

      I booked a hotel through Expedia for a trip I thought I was going to take . This hotel was supposed to be booked for 3/22-3/24 . The event I was booking this hotel for was canceled and I attempted to cancel this hotel almost immediately and they did not let me cancel it . We decided that we were going to use the hotel since they wouldnt let us cancel since there was another event we were going to attend the same weekend. We drove to the hotel on Friday after work just to find out the booking days were for 3/29-3/31. Upon arrival we tried to talk to the people in charge of the hotel and they basically said theres nothing they can do. They didnt change the date even thought it was over a week in advance since the booking date was incorrect or provide any credits they just left us hanging and we had no place to stay for 3/22.They advised us to call Expedia and through working with them they also did not help. They said we could cancel but we wouldnt get our money back. We cant afford to cancel something and not get our moneys worth so that is why I issued this because it was not only the wrong date but we had to pay for another hotel last minute which was even more expensive as we had no where to stay for our event. Given the circumstances the hotel or Expedia could have aided us and made us not have to go through this process but ultimately this was the best option for us .

      This was my search history as well on the Expedia app that shows I was looking for the dates ***** not the dates that ended up being booked

      I made a room reservation (#*********) with Greenview Hotel in January for two nights (August 17 and 18), especially choosing the room at a higher rate for it to be cancellable for a full refund; and they charged me a deposit of USD****** (room rate for first night) . Two weeks ago, I submitted a request for cancellation asking for a full refund of USD ******. However, the hotel responded back to cancel my reservation but declined my request for the refund and offered a credit of USD ****** for me to use in 2023. The credit is not acceptable to me as I will not be able to use the credit. I emailed them back asking them to honor their cancellation policy but they did not respond further. I am filing this complaint to request for a full refund of USD ****** back to my credit card.

      Yes, I have a reservation confirmation email from Greenview showing that the reservation is cancellable without penalty if the reservation is cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival.
