I am seeking a refund of $246.36, the amount Aloft Coral Gables double charged my credit card for on May 21, 2023. My stay was from May 18 - May 21. Upon checking out at the front desk, I received a bill in the form of a Folio (attached) for the amount $499.46, which I paid in person. After leaving the property, my credit card was charged a second time for the amount of $246.36 (bank statement attached). Ive been in correspondence with ************************* the propertys general manager and his team since May 30th where they are unwilling to refund the charge. On June 14th he offered ***** Marriot points which I declined. His correspondence have grown to be unprofessional, inflammatory, and accusatory. They are not rooted in facts.*** filled a complaint and request for investigation to Marriotts Customer Engagement Team, where they agreed I was incorrectly charged however do not have the authority to perform the refund. Ticket number **** ******.
