A wild, unvaccinated cat attacked me in front of the Regency Miami Airport -- and the staff was completely unapologetic and indifferent. The cat lives full-time, directly in front of the hotel lobby entrance, in full view of the staff at the front desk. I was walking my small dog through the door, and the cat -- which guards the entrance -- came at us. I shielded my dog, and the cat scratched me on the foot, to the point that I was bleeding. Another hotel guest, who witnessed the event, told me that staff of the hotel in fact feeds the wild cat, which is why it lives there full-time. When I informed the two young employees at the front desk, they were completely indifferent, claiming they had no responsibility for vaccinating the cat, or making sure that it does not attack guests, even though it lives full-time in front of the hotel entrance. They told me how "nice" the cat was, even though it had just attacked me. I really hope I do not have any further effects from getting scratched, but if that occurs, this will turn from a BBB complaint into a legal one.
