I bought the Helo Extense (a non-invasive glucose monitor) 12/1/18. It took a while to receive the device: 2/7/19. The device only works with a companion app downloaded from the companys site. However, the app never worked. I contacted ******* I bought it from and she said that the team was working on it and that she would update me (she never did). I kept trying to see if the device and app would work and it didnt. They sent an email on 3/18/19 saying they were updating the app and that it should be available soon. I went to their site and found that the company had sold some parts, so I contacted the company ****, but they said that I would need to contact the original company WGN. Finally, on 5/8/20, I emailed WGN and asked for to either fix the issue or give me a refund since the device was literally useless. They mentioned that they were aware of the issue and that their IT department was working on it. That email address no longer works as I got a mail delivery error. I went back to their website and found a different email address but it says its for investors. I sent an email to them on 5/28/23 and again on 1/23/24 but was emailed a generic response, saying that this email is for investors only and if its not an investor issue, theyd send it to the right department. At this point, I just want a refund because its clear to me that the device will never work. I am frustrated that I was drug along or so long with promises that itd work. Im also frustrated that now I cannot find an accurate way to contact the right people in the company on this matter.
