Greetings. I went to Popeyes store number **** on May 21st at 6:39 p.m. after waiting in line placed an order and the order had to be returned because it was ice cold. I have specifically asked the cashier if the chicken was cooked fresh and still hot and she told me yes. A blatant lie. The food had to be returned and cashier said she would remake the food. Upon waiting for my food to be prepared again, there were three customers that had returned to the store to return their food because of problems. After waiting about 15 to 20 minutes for them to remake my food I left. Upon opening the box the food was not edible. It was extremely hard and dark and not edible. I was not going to continue to keep returning the food to the store so I left. I contacted the owner the next morning his name was ***** at the phone number on the receipt which was ************. He and I had an extensive conversation and he thanked me for my feedback. He stated that he would be at the store that day until 7:00 p.m.. I specifically drove there 45 minutes away after getting off work. ************* was not there and there was a store manager by the name of *******. ******* was not privy to my conversation with ************* and I asked him to call him. He called ************* and I was still there for another 15 to **************************************************************************************************** the wrong receipt. The cashier gave me the receipt that the store is to keep and the store kept the receipt that should have been given to me. Either way it clearly showed the transaction. I was then told I could not get a refund because they gave me the wrong receipt which clearly showed the items I purchased via bank debit card. A younger employee stepped in to assist the manager and was able to get the screen to begin processing a refund once I entered my debit card into the portal terminal. To date I have not received my ***************** service did nothing
