Good Afternoon. On Feb 23rd, 2023, I hired Miami Movers for less to move my belongings from one rental property to another. I was going from a 3 bedroom to a 4 bedroom home. I specifically requested the assistance of the movers to box items since I have back problems. Well the 3 employees that was sent to my home, not only did not understand me because they did not speak English, but would not pack because it was extra work. I was promised to have all belongings wrapped and properly managed. They did not do so and in fact almost every furniture item was damaged in some way. They damaged my TV, my brand new furniture for the master room (due to liquid) my sons, bedroom furniture (due to liquid), my couch (somehow it was bent) and my dining table. The company did not even finish my move because the truck they came in was not big enough. Out of 3 men, only one was actually working. Which ended costing me so much more at the end. I end up paying an extra $1k from what I was originally quoted. When I spoke to the manager he threatened to throw my belongings on my driveway and make me deal with it. I was very polite and explained to the men what they were doing was not what I requested. On top of it, all of my wardrobe boxes had roaches in them? This was less than a mile move and because my wardrobe was the first thing placed in the truck sitting there roaches popped up from a brand new home. I am asking for partial payment to be returned due to all my damages. The manager blocked my number and is no longer receiving my calls. I feel totally taken advantage of and I wished I would of read the reviews being I was not the only one.
