      I took my 2015 Lexus LS460 in because there was a problem with the brake booster and brake booster pump assemblies which was covered under the customer support program ****** notification. They fixed the problem except for the fuse that communicates with the assembly. (This was by my request. That would have cost $1600) While they had my car for NINE days Lexus of West Kendall communicated with me about my brakes. They told me that my brakes needed work which included new front and rear pads, new rotors, and front sensors which would come to $3800. When I declined they came back with saying that they could turn the rotors and didn't need to replace the sensors at a cost of $2700. I had the car returned to me and took it to my own mechanic who is a Lexus specialist. After checking the brakes, he concluded that there was still over 60% life remaining on the pads and rotors. He did have to replace the fuse at a cost of $800. Obviously, I am furious at the attempts of Lexus of West Kendall to scam me out of money for unnecessary work. (I had the same type of dealings with the Lexus of Kendall at Pinecrest and that is why I went to the West Kendall service department) I will never deal with this company again and will take my car and any purchases of new vehicles to the ************** Lexus dealership where I have had great service in the past even though it is a ways from my home. I own two Lexus LS460 automobiles because I love the product; I do not love the service at these two dealerships.

      I own a 2022 Lexus RX 350 with ****** miles. It is still under warranty. One of the two key fobs became inoperative. I live in the ******* Keys. I chose to go to Lexus of West Kendall, to obtain a replacement fob because it is the closest dealer to me at 70 miles away. It was not a positive experience.I called their service department October 19 and spoke to ****** to make an appointment for Monday, October 23. ******, made the appointment and told me my service manager would be ****. I asked ****** to confirm the replacement fob was in stock. I arrived at West Kendall Lexus Monday, October 23, at 9 AM. I was then informed by the assigned service manager that the part was not in stock. I asked why I had not been notified before making the long trip. He told me that it was the parts departments responsibility to call me. A fob was then ordered.On Wednesday, October 25, parts called and told me the fob was in. I made another appointment for Monday, October 30, at 10 AM. A service tech confirmed that my fob was defective and the replacement fob was programmed. I was then informed that because I was the one who initiated ordering the part that rather being a warranty replacement, I would have to pay for it.In my 81 years, I have never dealt with a company that would make a service appointment knowing full well that they did not have the part to perform that service. Two trips, 300 miles, and a $626.24 charge for a part and repair that should've been covered by the warranty.In addition to the Lexus I also own a ****** Tundra. Neither vehicle will ever be seen in a West Kendall Lexus or ****** service bay.Thank you for liking considering this matter.Respectfully,*****************************

      We spoke with the customer and after speaking with him he now understands he never told anyone here in service this was a warranty issue instead he ordered an extra key directly from the parts department. We have canceled that order with parts and now have ordered the key replacement correctly under warranty through the service department. Customer is happy now.

      The salesman was good. The finance manager lied about the extended warranty coverage. He told me that I would receive an additional 60,000 miles of coverage for the $2550 I paid in full upfront but I only received an additional 40,000. So please read everything before you sign once and he taps the tablet duplicating your signature on all documents.
