Hello I need your help, this company specializes in paper crafts for parties/events.My daughters 10th bday is on 6/3 and i contacted this vendor on 4/29 for pricing info.It started well; i placed an order and provided a deposit.Through the course of the days there was many back and forth exchanges and at some point it was evident the vendor (name is Zaskia) became irritated with so many exchanges and began to interpret my attempt to work within my budget as me “questioning” her prices as she later mentions.Despite this,I ignored her direct and at times rude responses until the graphic design part of her work.She sent me a draft and I requested some changes.When she sent me the changes she tells me that she doesn’t make more changes and that the version sent was now moving to production. This was not only an example of her demeanor tone but she never mentioned it before so it appeared as an ultimatum. So I respectfully sent her the following message “please be a little more gentle with your texts. I don't know if it's the text but it’s coming on strong and no client deserve to be talked to that way”. Because of this, she sent a huge response saying I was rude and had lack of consideration for her time and she cancelled my order (2 weeks before my daughters birthday). So by me (in a respectable way) expressing how I felt with the vendors way of communicating instead of being sorry that her client felt that way or trying to clarify that it was not her intention or it was some misinterpretation, she become defensive, ultimately letting her ego take control and cancelling my order. The situation was obviously interpreted differently by both parties; I was trying to work with my budget like any mother on a budget for the party but she interpret it as me questioning her pricing. It’s not ethically and morally right to cancel an order 2 weeks before a party and would like for her to honor the order and then we no longer do business.
