I was supposed to get a surgery in 2021,, I ended up having to cancel. I paid ***** for my surgery. They said it would take $1000 off for cancellation fee at first that wasnt an issue for me. At this time it had been its 2023 so it has been a while since i paid in full almost 2 years. My boyfriend passed away right before my surgery anyways. I let them know that how we paid at that time all of the accounts where closed, they asked me to provide proof so i provided screenshots for all accounts.. ********************************************** who is now under another name told me that they were sending my check in the mail and at a point in time they even gave me a date for the check. When that check never came i called to find out they claim they sent the money back to the bank accounts that are closed. They tell me you have to go to the banks right so i went to bank and because my accounts were closed for over a year theres nothing they could do and they sent the money back to the merchant. Do you know they told me they dont take incoming payments? I said yall shouldnt have sent my money out anyways it should have been a check and the bank is sending it back and your telling me you dont take incoming payments? So in September of 2024 i went through lawyers and sent a demand letter for the full $***** and interest fees and legal fees and of course they didnt respond to it, and its sad that on this page im seeing so much similar things about refunds and now all of a sudden they have changed their name and instagram. This is absurd and $***** isnt a little bit of money you guys have all the proof so im not uploading anything that will be for my lawyers i just wanted to get the word outBusiness Response

2. The procedure was completed in full as scheduled, and all services associated with the payment were rendered in accordance with the agreed terms.
3. The office provided all the pre- and post-operative care as outlined in the patient agreement.
4. Ms. ***** ******** has never contacted our office regarding a request for a refund or raised any concerns about the procedure or the services provided.

Unfortunately, we did not receive any response from the patient, despite our efforts over several months.

This is an email on the 31 of October after the thousand was sent to my account I was notified that I was on a list after the thousand dollars was sent. I dont understand why the whole amount wasnt sent.the same day that I receive an email about my refund which was October 24. I received $1000 that same day even though they told me that I will have to wait 3 to 5 business days but did not send my whole amount. Plastic surgery with ** ****** **** at Unique Aesthetic Center performed a breast reduction with saline implants. I ran into complications with open wounds. ** was never available to discuss why I had so many complications. He moved from one office to another. My implants did not work with my body, I have keloids from the wounds under my breast, my left breast had a noise as if liquid was moving and I ended up with a bulge under my breast which the ** neglected to acknowledge when I came to the office and the only time he saw me after almost 6 months. I know my body and I did not have that. I try to massage it and it bruises and its painful. My right breast turns rock hard and hurts. I now have an encapsulated implant and unfortunately I need to have explantation surgery.After the 6 months visit and how nasty this ** was at my visit I never heard from them again about follow up or massages. As a result of their lack of empathy and professionalism I still have complications. The $8000spent do not guarantee the horrible results and their lack of follow up. I need them to refund me to cover the new surgery I need to have done. This is the ***** experience Ive ever received with a doctor. I saw the reviews and there are many upset clients whom they havent taken care of. When I asked for a copy of my signed documents I was told I need to go on the portal and order them. The medical records team is refusing to email me my medical records unless I pay $1 and on their response it never says there is a charge for them per page. I find it offensive that they are the only office wanting to charge for medical records when they never provided me with a copy upon signing.
the other issue is that the ** never followed up with me for the rest of the year like they should.

Subject : complaint Against Unique Asethetic Center I hope this message finds you well , I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Unique Asethetic center regarding failure to issue a refund owed to . On June 18th 2024 , I initiated a request for a refund after canceling a service with unique Asethetic center. Despite their deduction of a cancellation fee amounting to $ 1000.00,I have yet to received the remainder of my payment totaling $8200.00. I spoke with a representative on July 19th 2024 who assured me that the refund would be processed and credited back to my payment method by 5:00PM that same day regrettably ,as of today July 24th 2024 , I have not received any payment from Unique aesthetics . On March 22nd, 2024, I requested a refund from Unique Center for the amount ***** dollars to be refunded back to the payment method that I used to make the purchase. I was told that it would take 21 business days to process. On the 21st business day I called and was told by *** that "it was in the final processing phase" and I should "here something back soon" on the 25th business I called again and was basically told the same thing by ***** who says she is the supervisor of the reimbursement department and that they were behind but would be processing the payment and that they are only allowed to disperse so much in a week to issue out refunds and that was creating a delay. I was told 21 business for my refund and as a patient I should not have to wait beyond the designated timeframe to get a refund for services I did not receive and would not have been able to receive had I not paid in full. I would like my refund as it is causing me extreme delays and it's a major inconvenience to have to constantly call for my refund. Today is the 31st business day and now I am unable to reach anyone in the refund department. I'm constantly being told they are on the phone with other patients and that I will receive a callback shortly, but it's been 2 hours, and I haven't received a call and I'm not being transferred when I call to the right people. Unique Aesthetic Center is required to refund me $8350, as requested on December 21, 2023. Their stated refund policy outlines a ***** business day window for processing refunds. This timeframe has elapsed, and despite multiple inquiries, their refund department has not provided any indication of when the refund will be issued. I am rejecting this response because:Thank you for your assistance. I received a call from Unique Esthetic Center on April 2nd, informing me that they had issued a refund via regular mail the same day. They advised me to expect the refund within seven to fourteen days. This is a perplexing claim, considering that US mail usually takes a maximum of three days. I'd like to note that I specifically requested the check be sent via certified mail for tracking and secure delivery purposes considering the amount of the check. Their response has raised concerns about the continuation of their potentially deceptive practices. To date, the check has not been received.
I want to ensure that my ten-day window with the BBB doesn't close should the check either fail to arrive or not clear within a reasonable timeframe. Therefore, I kindly request this complaint be kept open for an extra ten days to confirm the transaction has been successfully completed.

I made a deposit of $250 to Unique Aesthetic Center in February 2023 for a BBL with fat transfer procedure for a promised date of surgery 1/4/24. This was a date given to my by the office stating it was available at that time. The full price agreed was ****. I made payments of **** and was ready to pay the full amount on 11/16 when I was contacted by the office and told my surgery date was cancelled due to **************** going on vacation. I was floored. My labs were done and medical clearance. **************** wants all of his surgery paid in full one month prior to the date scheduled. I am traveling from out of state. I had to make several accommodations in regards to this surgery including a recovery home, child care, time off of work, flights, post op supplies,etc. They took absolutely no consideration in to cancelling a surgery day less then 7 weeks of schedule. I requested an immediate refund on the patient portal of the total $****. As well as emailed the coordinator requesting a letterhead with the cancellation to forward to my accommodations. No answer. I was recently contacted attempting reschedule my surgery. Which I feel is not the correct thing to do considering my specific circumstances. I work contract and am due back to work 1/31/24. Then offered several other facilities/drs to redirect to. I took over a year of time and research with **************** when I considered elective surgery. Less then four weeks trying to commit to a Dr in an entire different state. Then threaten me to lose $1000 if I permanently cancelled. How does a surgeon acquire 1k when he cancelled on me for a vacation. Its a true scam. I can imagine how many people they have done this to. I was a compliant patient. Standing on my end of the agreement. If youre able to withdraw my surgery date on short notice, its absolutely unprofessional, and honestly does not make me comfortable to proceed with an invasive procedure with the surgical center.Business Response

The office has spoken to the patient multiple times in regards to this matter, unfortunately the surgeon will not be available for the dates she originally booked for. Due to this inconvenience the cancelation fee has been waived. Refund is being processed in full.
