On 8/7/23, ************************* gave me a quote $17,000 to turn my Fiberglass pool into a Concrete pool along with other enhancements. I told him I didnt have $17,000, so he said he can finance the difference with no interest and how much can I come up with. I told him $7000, but I would need a contract first and he told me h*** have his secretary to email it to me that next day. That day never came. He told me he needed to pick up the check that night, made out to his company name (Unity 1 Pools, LLC). The next day, I had to void that check because of the time it takes to clear and put it in his name so he can buy supplies to start work that Thursday 8/10/23. On Tuesday, 8/8/23 the check was cashed using a check cashing business. And from that time on, its been lies, deceptions and excuses. On Monday, 9/18/23 I was no longer interested in the original renovation plans, because of trust issues. So, I asked for a quote to paint the pool and fix the leak, and that never happened neither. Finally, on Saturday 9/30/23, l told I him wanted my $7000 back. Up until this day he keeps asking me to be patient for my refund. I filed a police report on Tuesday, 10/16/23 and after he spoke to the police, he told them he owes me the money. Its been over 5 months of lies and deception and excuses and I still have not received my monies. ************************* took my money and ran and had no intention of doing the work I in trusted him to do.
