      I feel it would be a big mistake to hire this firm. They do not do what they say they are going to do. Very terrible on follow-up. They just leave you hanging.

      I have a previous review on this page that was meant for another company, not Peninsula. Although the entire process of claims and fair payments to homeowners was and is a major issue, it isn't the fault of Peninsula. Frustration after the hurricane loss is an understatement and one im still dealing with 14 months after the loss, it isn't Peninsula to blame. I still haven't been fully reimbursed and neither have they as a result. Peninsula has been patient and understanding throughout. Since I can't delete my original comments. I added this to offset the incorrect one.

      Ivan did a fantastic job with my hurricane Ian cliam. BE PATIENT! It took over 2 months just for the insurance adjuster to come out. I got what was called an initial pay out that did not include personal items, electrical and plumbing issues or interior repairs. Ivan made 2 inspections, arranged for an indipendent appraisal as the insurance company had no intention of sending additional funds. Ivan negotiated a settelment that will cover ALL my expenses as soon as the price gouging stops and I can find a fair person to get the rest of the work done. The process took a total of 11 months but thanks to Peninsukla Public Adjusters I will be made whole.

      DO NOT USE Peninsula Public Adjusters. Initially I received a reimbursement check for inside repairs which took three months which did not include replacing my roof. After the PA received the first check, the process of getting anything accomplished was next to nothing. It would take weeks for him to respond back to my texts. He left the country without notifying me or providing another PA to assist in his place. Two months later after no help, I went to the county convention center where customers with unresolved claims meet with the insurance companies. I was able to present my claim and was able to get money for all the items I requested including my roof replacement. The agent stated the claim submitted by the PA was over double of what I requested and also submitted a claim for a metal roof and not a shingle roof. None of this information was shared with us by the PA. We discussed a certain dollar amount and he submitted a completely different claim without our knowledge. In my opinion, the PA, did not have our interests in mind and was only out for a higher commission at the expense of me not getting my roof replaced in a timely manner because the quote was so overly inflated. After two weeks I had not received my check from the insurance company. I called the main office number asking for a supervisor. The receptionist said there wasn't one available and would not provide me the name of a supervisor. She stated someone would call and no one returned my call. I called four days later and she assured me someone would call that day and they did not return my call. Upon signing with the company, the PA instructs you not to call or talk to your insurance company. So I was hesitant to call per our agreement. But after no response from the company I finally called the insurance company myself and through several emails was able to resolve the issue myself. The PA states he is still entitled to his 10% even though I secured the payment myself. Highly unethical.

      I want to thank Peninsula Public Adjusters for their assistance with my damages due to Hurricane Ian. Tamara provided excellent assistance during the entire process. Tamara assisted us from the beginning and walked us through the entire process. She assured me daily to just trust her and that I needed to just "just trust the process" and let her do the work. With Tamara's assistance, I received more than 3 times what the insurance company was originally offering me to repair the damages my home sustained. Thank you Tamara for not only putting up with me but for helping my family out when it was needed. Dave M**************

      My insurance paid a mere **** additional dollars as a result of their efforts, but 4 weeks after they paid it out, I haven't heard anything from them. Despite an email asking what happened to my 90% share of the payout, I've received no response and no money. I am near filing a complaint against them for *****.

      After Hurricane *** and the destruction of our home I really did not want to deal with the added stress of dealing with the insurance company. We hired PPA and *************************** was our main contact. The insurance company grossly underpaid our claim. With the help of ******** and PPA we finally got a fair settlement. I would highly recommend them and hopefully I will never need this type of service again but if I do I will reach out to them again.

      ********* and ******* worked on my claim and it was a very smooth process. They are very reliable and responsible professionals, and handled my claim in a most diligent manner. I was awarded the necessary funds to replace damage to my roof due to a hailstorm event, as well as damage to my floor due to a leak in the A/C. Tank you ********* and *******!

      ******* told us we needed to pay for his time after wanting to cancel before the 10 days that the contract states no penalty no obligation. he also said the claim was already placed and said that i would have to contact the insurance to cancel. i would never do business with this company again. very unprofessional.
