I was overcharged for shipping my vehicle from Dallas, TX to Honolulu, HI. My agent was **** *******. I was charged on June 16, 2021 for a total of $3,009.95 for service provided above. On July 7, 2021, **** called me saying that Matson has a new process where the customer needs to pay directly for the portion from Los Angeles Port to Honolulu, HI. I called Matson and made a payment for $1350.75 (booking number XXXXXXX). **** said that South Beach Transport will then refund me for this amount since I had to pay this directly to Matson. I followed up with **** on July 19, 2021 asking for an update on the refund status. On July 20, 2021, **** said that he sent it to the accounting department and it should take 3-5 days. On August 6, 2021, I texted **** asking for another update. He responded saying he will look into it on Monday. On Monday, August 9th, **** said they are "Making the refund 3-5 business days you'll see return they said". As of today, still no refund.
