I good faithfully contacted Hurricane Roofing of Florida for a full roof replacement. Mr ********* ****** came over to give me an estimate. I agreed to the price structure and paid 1/3rd of the price (May 28, 2021). June 6, 2021 Ms. ******** ************ ********** (co-owner) came to my residence to fill out all the required paperwork for the county building department (permits) Up to that point everything was very proper & professional. Then came the delays, not answering emails or phone calls. Out of the blue one day they call me to advise me that there's a new metal roof manufacturer that will be able to provide materials for the job. My wife and I approve the change and sign a new contract. Again and again we try to call communicate with them and nothing. Yesterday we received the following: "Re: Hurricane Roofing of Florida, Inc. To whom it may concern; This letter is to serve as an OFFICIAL NOTICE that due to the volatile & post COVID business environment over this last year; our company (Hurricane Roofing of Florida, Inc.) has absorbed substantial & severe financial losses. Due to the volatility of the construction & roofing industry, Hurricane Roofing of Florida, Inc. is no longer in a position to sustain business operations and unfortunately & regrettably; have been forced to close the business as we are no longer able to operate and or provide services related to the company's current commitments. This letter is in effect as of November 17th, 2021. Moving forward; any and all correspondence regarding Hurricane Roofing of Florida, Inc., as it relates to any current & or previous clients with an open commitment shall be conducted via our legal council. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused as well as for the delayed communication regarding this matter. Having said that, know that the decision to close our business has been extremely difficult as this is an uncharted area for us including the implementation of this process...
