Roto-rooter lied to me about what work needed to be done, what they found doing the work, what needed to be done to fix the problem, what the cost of the work done and proposed had to be. They are liars and cheaters. When I gave them a bad review ( when they asked for a review), their general manager **** called me. As I told him what had happened, he agreed that needed work was mispresented, that they lied about not having the correct camera to recheck the condition of the drain lines, thst they lied about what problems were found but he never offered to reimburse me some of the $11,000 that roto-rooter stole from me. Do NOT ever use Roto-Rooter!!

I've called and spoken with a few customer service agents regarding my experience today, 9/11/2021, with Roto-Rooter.

We called a plumber to fix a clogged toilet. It seemed the clog was further down the pipe than expected, and our plumber snaked the toilet. The main issue was the clogged toilet, however it seems that this process FLOODED the bathroom, the closet nearby, and the downstairs unit.

Had I known that the plumber would flood the bathroom, and cause water damage to myself and the downstairs unit - I would not have called Roto - Rooter. The plumber charged me $1000 to snake the toilet (including a $250 to assist with the "water services" since there was sewage everywhere.) By assisting with his water services, we had to use our own towels to try to clean as much as sewage as we could, however the damage had been done and it started to seep to the downstairs. I had to call a professional cleaning service after he left because there was still sewage damage everywhere ($150).

I refused to pay the plumber or sign any documentation because he quoted that there was "no water damage" when in fact there very well was. I requested that he call a Water Damage Mitigation Agent (*******) and I would not sign anything until he could confirm the issues. I showed the agent the pictures and videos of what the plumber had done, and he agreed that there was in fact water damage - not only that, he insisted that the sewage was HAZARDOUS and *******'s services were required immediately to avoid further decay and mold. I told him that Roto Rooter needed to fix the issues they created. He then went downstairs and quoted $3000 for services to FIX the issues that the plumber and charged it. The tenant was asked to leave the property for a few days and stay at a hotel while they worked on sanitazing the property ($200 a night per night she has to stay elsewhere.)

I could not believe the audacity. I relay this information over to you to rectify this entire situation. I have pictures to demonstrate the damages done as the plumber went along. I reiterate that THERE WAS NO WATER DAMAGE before the plumber started working. He knew what had happened and became very uncomfortable with the entire situation.
