      The royal holiday vacation club is the biggest scam operation I have ever had the misfortune to join. the promises they made at their ****************** have all turned out to be lies. The pressure, lies, and misleading information they put on you are unbelievable. as i am limited to ***** characters, I cannot list the litany of lies, misinformation, and frustration in dealing with these people. I can only tell you in the limited space I have to avoid these people at all costs or you will be sorry. This is by far the biggest regret I have ever had in my life in dealing with some company. AVOID THIS!!!!!

      Awful. One of the worst experiences of my life. I cannot believe people lie like this and get away with it. I have paid a huge amount - the whole membership is paid off and they will not let me cancel. They told me to call my lawyer!! I just want out. They have made more than enough money off of me.

      Dear Sir or Madam,

      I want to inform you that I have been in contact with Mr. ***** *****************, through our communication, they mentioned their financial situation has changed and cannot keep paying. I offered them to set a payment plan to process the 2024 Maintenance Fee and waive late fees to bring the account current. It was also clarified that they can certainly roll over unused holiday credits to be used the following year as per our accumulation policies. However, as a one-time exception, we can recuperate last year unused credits to book reservations this year. However, they decided not to accept any offer.

      They also stated they have been lied to regarding the information provided about the Maintenance Fee at time of purchase. It is worth noting that as per the Operating Rules of the Club, the annual fee might increase to reflect the raising costs and expenses of the Club; however, such increment has been minimum. Moreover, since 2011,there have been three periods of 3 consecutive years where the fee did not increase, the most recent was from 2020 to 2022.

      Furthermore,in order to avoid any type of misunderstandings with the information provided by the sales staff, our members sign a Membership Purchase and Sales Agreement,a Document Confirming Clubs Vacation Program, and a Promissory Note with all detailed information about the membership and the payments related to it.

      For the aforementioned reasons, we inform you that our members request is respectfully denied. After providing them this information, they insisted on canceling the membership and decided to terminate the call advising they would contact their attorney.

      I highly recommend our members to ****** their position and take advantage of the benefits that the membership offers. Royal Holiday has several destinations in the most beautiful Mexican and ****************** beaches and several other destinations in the U.S.A., *************, *****************, as well as an exclusive cruise program, where our members can have a memorable time. I also would like to remind her that we have added new travel destinations to our inventory in the ** in ************, **; ***********, **; **********, **;*******, ** ***** *********, **; *********, **, ******, **; *******, ** *********************, *********************************.

      Their membership also allows them to make deposits with RCI to book vacations in their pool of reservations in numerous destinations.

      Shall they decide to accept our offer, they may contact me by email or at **************.

      I am so upset with this timeshare that I purchased.. it is such a scam with all its false promises. They promised that there will always be room availability with the best rooms at the resort & significantly cheaper flight rates the people who are selling these time shares are all con artists and I cant believe I fell for it. I have wasted so much money on this. I have tried to cancel my membership multiple times. Even within a month of purchase, which they said was in the time frame of cancellation as per the contract, but they acted as if I never tried to cancel it and just prolonged not cancelling it until it was out of the time frame. I just want my money back from this. You should be able to cancel if they cant live up to the standards that they sell it at just give everyone who is not happy their money back what you do isnt right!

      I want to inform you that I have been in contact with **************************, through our communication, it was clarified that in order to avoid any type of misunderstandings with the information provided by the sales staff, our members sign a Membership Sales Agreement, a Confirming Document and a Promissory Note with all detailed information about the membership and the payments related to it.

      Our member also mentioned that she was told she could always book a reservation. It is important to mention that all of our reservations are subject to availability based on first-come, first-served basis. Furthermore, certain destinations require a minimum stay of 7-nights checking-in on specific days of the week throughout the calendar year or on a specific season, thats why our members might not find them available if the request did not meet these requirements.

      If the reservation is not available as requested, our ************************** is always willing to assist our members with their requests and our Travel Advisors can be reached by telephone, e-mail or chat to check options to offer our members alternate choices such as available dates, lodging units or destinations under the vacation program. This scenario will not be deemed as nonperformance by Royal Holiday with its contract obligations.

      I strongly recommend our member to take advantage of the benefits that her membership has available for her. She owns an excellent level, and Royal Holiday has several destinations in the most beautiful Mexican and ****************** beaches and within U.S.A., as well as an exclusive cruise program, where our member will be able to have a memorable time.

      She was also awarded great incentives that include a Privileged Member Certificate which grants her to book 45 nights at selected destinations without using Holiday Credits. One of the membership benefits allows members to make deposits with RCI to book vacations in their pool of reservations in numerous destinations when the specific destination that our member wants is not part of our inventory. Furthermore, she can roll over unused Holiday Credits to be used the following year as per our accumulation policies.

      For the aforementioned reason, we inform you that our members request is respectfully denied.

      Our initial experience with the Royal Holiday Vacation Club was less than satisfactory. During my stay at the Park Royal in ******* in the early 2000s, I was invited to a meeting where I was offered multiple shots of tequila and beer. The sales pitch was aggressive, and by the end of the very long meeting, there was a room full of people trying to sell me a membership. The salespeople promised access to special rooms with ocean views and suites, but when I tried to book these rooms, they were always unavailable. I also asked about the ability to cancel my membership and was told that they would sell it for me, but apparently, that is not an option. Despite the promises and the financial commitment, my family has only had a few opportunities to use the timeshare, and they were not impressed. We have also found that the maintenance fees have steadily increased over the years, without any substantial improvements or added benefits. We believe that the Royal Holiday Vacation Club has engaged in deceptive sales practices and failed to deliver on the promises made during the initial sales pitch. The financial burden of this timeshare membership has become too much for my family, and we feel that we have been taken advantage of.

      Royal Holiday Club is a total scam.I joined RHC 28 years ago..My annual points initially provided 10 days of vacation per year.Now, my points provide 3 days per year.The annual maintenance fee would easily buy me a week on Expedia.Lastly, RHC lost the trust documents issued when i joined. RHC and their staff have no integrity!Do not fall for their false promises.

      Despite my request to cancel my timeshare agreement, this timeshare has refused my request and has shown no willingness to let me go. They insist that my reasons for cancellation are not valid enough, which I wholeheartedly disagree with. To provide some context, my husband and I added points to our timeshare agreement in 2007 because Royal Holiday Vacation Club had added properties abroad. However, since then, the number of properties has decreased. Many locations cannot be booked through Royal Holiday Vacation Club. According to their website, the one location in ***** is unavailable for 2024/2025. Many of the locations have become "all-inclusive," adding $54 to $74 per season/day on top of the maintenance fee. I do not like all-inclusive packages, particularly in ******. The maintenance fees have also increased substantially every year, and the number of available locations has declined. My husband suffered from Alzheimer's for ten years before his death, and his condition affected his sight, making it difficult for him to travel with all the problems of Alzheimer's. The lack of locations and inability to book due to "not available" calendars has made it challenging for me to use my timeshare. The maintenance fees have become exorbitant. When I asked Royal Holiday Vacation Club's agent how to cancel my membership, I was told that there is no way to cancel and that the contract is forever. Upon further investigation, I found a contract from 2007 that upgraded my membership for 30 years. If I don't use my points for the year, I can only roll over 20% every other year. On the other year, I can roll over all. The number of points required to book a location has increased significantly. I am extremely dissatisfied with my timeshare agreement with Royal Holiday Vacation Club. The decline in the number of properties available, the maintenance fees, and the inability to cancel my membership is unacceptable.

      As a single individual with limited financial resources, every ***** counts. It's crucial to be cautious with hard-earned money. With no children to enjoy the property and safety concerns in ******, there's no room for compromise. The number of situations involving drug solicitations we encountered was alarming and unacceptable. We let Royal Holiday know that we don't feel safe and they have DONE nothing. But the keep citing "Covid"... Covid is overno more excuses. They have NO REGULATION or MORAL ETHICS. They do not reply to Attorney Generals nor take action with Mexican regulatory agencies. They are a rogue business that should be investigated.

      So, we are in a similar boat to many of the comments below. We were corralled into a sit down to discuss signing up with this club. In the sit down we had 3 different people sit down and review what we were signing up for. During each of the presentation we were told that flights, hotels and resort fees are all included with the club. Additionally, we were told that we have 30 days of "completely free" nights stays at resorts listed on sheet of paper. On our first attempt to use one of these free weeks, we were told no flights are included and all that is included is "free hotel rooms" and all resort fee's and all-inclusive fees are an additional charge. This club is a pyramid scam and doesn't make since financially and when trying to resolve the issues you get hung up on, told to show it in your contract that they have these things included.As discussing with them we were told numerous times all these things were in the contract, and we thought we were working with a honorable company. Unfortunately, we are out the money we have already spent and dealing with the headache of trying to resolve the issues with an unresponsive company that continues to hang up on you when you are trying to deal with the issues.

      Our experiences with this company have been deeply troubling, and we find ourselves at a loss as we face ongoing financial and emotional stress due to their policies. Firstly, it is important to state that our family's circumstances have changed significantly since we first acquired the timeshare. With two of our children currently in college, the financial burden of maintaining these timeshares, especially the annual maintenance fees, has become untenable. We have realized that we no longer use nor have any interest in the vacation club services offered by Royal Holiday Vacation Club. One of our major concerns is the possibility that our children may be burdened with these timeshares in the future. This worry adds an unnecessary layer of stress to our lives, as we are keenly aware that they will likely never use them. The prospect of freeing ourselves and our family from these obligations and reallocating those funds to support our children's education would be an immense relief. In an attempt to mitigate our losses and find a solution, we engaged the services of ********* Resale Market, to whom we paid close to $2,300 under the assurance that they could facilitate the sale of our timeshares. Despite their assurances and listing our timeshares on Sell My *********, there has been no progress, leaving us in a state of limbo and constant worry about the fate of our timeshares. The inability to cancel our ownership with Royal Holiday Vacation Club directly has been a source of significant distress. Not only are we saddled with financial obligations that no longer serve us, but the lack of flexibility and understanding from the company has made a challenging situation even more difficult. Our primary goal is to dissolve our ties with Royal Holiday Vacation Club and cease the financial hemorrhage that comes with owning unused and unwanted timeshares.
