      Global Resort Transfer, *** is supposed to facilitate a change of ownership of my timeshare property to a willing buyer. We were contacted via email on January 5, 2023 that ******************* would be our title processor. On March 6, 2023 we received an email from ******************* with documents that needed to be filled out/notarized with a 15 day deadline. One form, an estoppel request, was to come from the resort so I had no control of when that would be completed. I sent the completed requested forms back on March 23, 2023 and received email verification that all forms were complete on April 6, 2023. On April 14, 2023, I was able to forward the completed estoppel form. I received various automated emails over the summer that the paperwork was being processed. On September 15, 2023 I received a $1115 bill (due January 1, 2024) for the next biannual maintenance fee for the property that was being transferred. I contacted ******************* on September 15 and received a reply on September 22, 2023 that the process had changed and they needed one more form (a Right of First Refusal Form that they filled out with no required input from me) and that they refused to process it for the remaining four months of the year. I paid the maintenance fee when it was due and emailed verification on January 10, 2024. I also requested verification that the paperwork was complete. I have heard nothing further from them. I have bought and sold houses a few times in my lifetime and paperwork for loans and property transfer always took about 6 weeks, even prior to the internet age. It is beyond ridiculous that this process has taken well over a year with no end in sight. Any help getting this property transfer completed would be greatly appreciated.
