On 6/5/24 my vehicle was illegally towed by Prestige Auto Towing. ***** has been able to tell me who authorized for my vehicle to be towed, and why. Our tags were just recently renewed because they had been expired and none had been renewed by management. In fact some other tenants vehicle were towed yesterday as well because their tags were expired. Nonetheless, we are authorized tenants parking here. Whether the tag is expired, or tag is not showing, the towing company should have verified with management if these vehicles were not registered to this Condominium. This was the reason why, when we purchased our parking permits we had to give details of our vehicle along with license plate number, make, color, etc. All this info is filed with management.Our vehicles should not have been towed. This company is running a scam. They won't release my vehicle because it's under my husband's name. We live in ***** and rent here because I have business to attend. I've been doing this for years. I was leasing my vehicle, and the lease was expiring in March. I was out of country and my husband had to purchase the vehicle in his name because I was not there to sign. This is the same vehicle I registered when I signed the lease here at ******* and they have record of it. Get this, they allowed me to remove everything out of the vehicle, but refused to release the vehicle until I can prove ownership, ofcourse they will continue to charge by the day. They texted me a form they want me to notarized to prove ownership. The form says nothing about ownership (picture attached). The cops told me this company is running a scam. My legally and authorized vehicle was parked in my designated spot assigned by management.How can this company get away with towing vehicles that have permits to legally park at ********Their tow sign says, they will "tow any unauthorized vehicle." Im authorized. I will continue to bring this issue to light.What Prestige is doing is unethical.
