On 6/5/24 my vehicle was illegally towed by Prestige Auto Towing. ***** has been able to tell me who authorized for my vehicle to be towed, and why. Our tags were just recently renewed because they had been expired and none had been renewed by management. In fact some other tenants vehicle were towed yesterday as well because their tags were expired. Nonetheless, we are authorized tenants parking here. Whether the tag is expired, or tag is not showing, the towing company should have verified with management if these vehicles were not registered to this Condominium. This was the reason why, when we purchased our parking permits we had to give details of our vehicle along with license plate number, make, color, etc. All this info is filed with management.Our vehicles should not have been towed. This company is running a scam. They won't release my vehicle because it's under my husband's name. We live in ***** and rent here because I have business to attend. I've been doing this for years. I was leasing my vehicle, and the lease was expiring in March. I was out of country and my husband had to purchase the vehicle in his name because I was not there to sign. This is the same vehicle I registered when I signed the lease here at ******* and they have record of it. Get this, they allowed me to remove everything out of the vehicle, but refused to release the vehicle until I can prove ownership, ofcourse they will continue to charge by the day. They texted me a form they want me to notarized to prove ownership. The form says nothing about ownership (picture attached). The cops told me this company is running a scam. My legally and authorized vehicle was parked in my designated spot assigned by management.How can this company get away with towing vehicles that have permits to legally park at ********Their tow sign says, they will "tow any unauthorized vehicle." Im authorized. I will continue to bring this issue to light.What Prestige is doing is unethical.Initial Complaint

On the date of 12/20/23 a towing company attempted to tow my vehicle out of me apartment complex because it was not parked in the right spot. when i went downstairs to confront the tow truck driver, he advised that to release the car to me i had to pay $***** which i guess is half of the storage they charge once the car is in their lot.. i paid twice because the first payment i made through zelle didnt go through immediately because of review ( the review through zelle takes 3 days depending on the bank the customer has) i then had to send in a 2nd payment of ***** from another account in order for me to get my vehicle back.once the second payment went through on their end, the car was released to me. but the first payment however, was supposed to be refunded to me and it never was. With *****, once the payment get sent to another account there is nothing stopping it. Unless the recipient is not registered then they have 2 weeks to either keep the money or return the funds or the funds get received regardless of what the recipient does. after 3 attempts to reach out to them regarding the funds, i was ignored and they refused to refund me back the *****. all i want is the amount refunded back and thats itInitial Complaint

My son is in the Coastguard and his vehicle was towed, he was in contact with the manager and explained to him that he was going ************* for 30 days, the manager told him he could not tow the vehicle out of the yard until he renewed his tag and provided registration. Not once did he say that my son could lose his vehicle. He returned and resolved his issues, but now they refuse to provide him information about the vehicle since according to the employees at Prestige Auto Towing claimed that he abandoned the car, even though the manager was in communication with him and advised he would wait.Initial Complaint

They are a bunch of scammers and will rip you off. First of all someone working there had informed me that they dont start towing until 9:15pm at the ********************* but tell me how they went and towed both of my cars at 8pm and act like they never said that by saying their drivers are always new so they dont know anything. Terrible business. They are not open 24/7 like they claim so please tell me why they charge you for hours that theyre not operating and tell me how its $172 for an overnight towing and that price almost quadrupled for 2 days and also theyre not open on weekends but will count them in the charges that they will bill you for, they try to make it seem like they dont have a say in how much they charged but they change the price so often and charge so much. Its a shame they should be out of business for stealing peoples hard earned money like that. ********************* do not call them at all. They make it seem like that . Believe the negative reviews
