I am so disappointed and angered by this company. I was contacted by ***************************** who was initially pleasant over the phone and gave me information and a roughly quoted price for shipping my vehicle. I told him that I was in my beginning stages in the shipping process so I didnt want to commit to anything at this time but that I would be in touch. Since then, I have decided to drive my car instead of shipping it as this was the best option for me. It was brought to my attention however that my car was listed on the ************** of transportation as a vehicle that was going to be shipped by Stars and Stripes when I did NOT authorize or consent to my vehicle being placed on this board. After much research online, this is a tactic done by companies so that no other brokers/companies can list your vehicle if you decided to go with a different company. I called the phone number and respectfully requested it be removed from the national board as I did not give permission for my vehicle to be posted on the board. Interestingly enough it was ***************************** who answered the phone and I have never been spoken to in such a disrespectful, unprofessional, and condescending way in my life. I stated that all I did was inquire about a quote and did not give permission for my vehicle to be listed anywhere and Id like it removed. He was unbelievably rude stating that the board is public knowledge and nobody can tell him to take it down. He said he will not remove it and the accused me of working with other brokers, asked if I paid deposits, stated that these other companies have terrible reviews and that since I asked for a quote that was reason enough for him to create a whole reservation under my name with my vehicle. I respectfully asked him to remove it multiple times where he was harsh and unprofessional saying he will not be taking it down, cutting me off while I was speaking, and proceeded to hang up on me mid-conversation. I would NEVER EVER EVER use Stars and Stripes

I quoted online for shipping a car from TX to NY. I got around 300 phone calls/texts/emails over the next few weeks. I chose Stars and Stripes primarily because of *****. Spoke to him on the phone a few weeks before I knew the shipment date, he was professional. When I knew the date, called ***** back, he made it happen. Smooth transaction, car arrived safe and sound a day early. Will use them again if I need to, and reccomend to everyone.

Completely fraudulent.. quoted a price one month before and at the very last minute upped the price by $400. As a result we had to drive our car from Fla to R.I. I am 83 yrs old. They just prey on people

Did a great job getting me an excellent transport person from Oregon to Florida. Communication with Jimmy was great. It was a very stressful time for such a big move. Jimmy had to find us someone to transport a car & a large pickup truck with a riding lawn mower in the bed. Price was more than reasonable for such a long move.

I would give more stars if I could. Jimmy and Ivan were amazing and helped us out every step along the way. Jimmy gave us a great solution since the vehicle no longer had a key. As stated in another review they were a tad more than some of the other quotes we got. But there were no hidden surprises with charges. This was my 1st time shipping a vehicle and Jimmy held our hands every step of the way with answering questions, then checking in to ensure everything was going well with the key maker, etc. Great communication. Just remember you get what you paid for and Stars and Stripes were worth every dollar.

Absolutely shady tactics, they should actually be illegal. I had to keep following up should have been a red flag. Then they lost my order because "the system crashed" so we had to scramble to find a driver. We had agreed on a price then the price went up because the "driver" wanted more money. I didn't like how this was going to I decided to cancel with them. Well now they're holding my listing hostage so no other broker can work on it because they're feelings are hurt. Absolutely ridiculous if you hear the name Mike Spencer or James Cox run!
