I was contacted by this business after I booked my flight and they stated that they just wanted to go over the restrictions for my flight Not really understanding what they meant. I asked for a little more information on what they meant and I was told that after this phone call with them, they would send additional documentation forme to sign saying I understood the restrictions and accepted them. They then began to explain that I could not check in online and needed to check inat the airport and that I could not check a bag nor was I allowed to have a bag even if I wanted to pay to have a bag stowed under the plane. I told them that that is absolutely not OK and I would like my refund and I do not accept terms and restrictions and they began to become irate and tell me I was belittling them and refused to give me my refund. They told that I booked a discounted economy and it does not come with that when I looked up the flight confirmation on ***************** as I have many times booking with *************, no flight could be found. Booked a flight with FAREPORTO for my husband to return home after my surgery for a really cheap price well we found out that you cannot bring any luggage or a carry on when you use this site. Tried calling to cancel flight and they told us their tickets are nonrefundable and that it is not guaranteed that he will have a seat on the flight booked but that we could upgrade his ticket for $425 more to guarantee his seat. The employee was RUDE and did not want to hear anything i had to say nor answer any questions we had regarding the ticket. I booked and paid $264.72 for my flight. I received and email with a confirmation that I am booked and etickets would arrive in 24 hours. I get a call the next day to confirm the flights and then go over all the exclusions that I had to agree too- no carry on and no checked bags. It's a 4 day work trip- I can not do that. I finally got frustrated being transferred all over and left on hold to be fast talked in foreign accents and said I do not agree. They called me back and I even got email confirmation that one card would be charged $264.72 and the other $66.91. I replied back that I accept this for one card to be charged $264.72 and $66.91 on the other card. And they took my credit card info to pay the difference Then left me on forever hold again for another person to try and fast talk me and tell me they can't do it that way and would have to do another charge of $220 on the first card and a $100 charge on the other. As far as the $264.72 they already charged- they would have to refund that and redo charges because they can't split tax fees. At this point I had enough and did not trust this at all. I got the runaround all day and spent 2 hours and 15 minutes on the phone with them. They told me they are keeping everything the way it is and not refunding the $264.72 This is the biggest scam ever, If I do not receive my $264.72 back, I am reporting this to my credit card. This isn't a "travel agency" it is a scam to take your money and try to get even more money while making you spend hours on the phone. I have never had a scarier experience booking flights and terrified the credit cards will have unauthorized charges all over them. They even asked me what balances I had on the cards to charge. I booked flights for 5 people from my closest airport on 01/29/2025. Shortly after I got an email stating they were trying to call me and to call them back. First clue was I HAD NO missed calls. I called and spoke to this rude *** who said I paid for non-refundable flexible dates. I told him no I paid for the dates I requested and couldn't change them. He told me they were not giving me my money back and I needed to pay more and go from another airline. I told him there was no mention of non-cancelation or refund, but after 20 mins arguing he told me to pay more and get tickets. I reluctantly agreed but never got tickets and then only then did they actually bill my credit card. I immediately called my ********** to complain that I waited several hours and they never sent me tickets and I felt I had been scammed. I have left voice messages to call, and emailed their booking **** many times with not response. Today and only today they had the same *** call me and threaten no refund again only because my ********** reversed payment. I do not want to talk to this guy so I phone their customer service line again. Just goes to Music no one answers. I sent another message in their chat too, and doubtful anything will come from it. I booked a flight at a discounted price as advertised on their website. However after payment, I was told they would contact the airline to determine the flights availability. My girlfriend's mom is having major surgery and I purchased a ticket for her through Fareporto...BIG MISTAKE!!! I had a feeling when I made the purchase, something was off. 5 minutes after they took $265, a Fareporto agent called and said that they could not honor the purchase and that if she would still like to fly, they would have to change the dates and the flight would now cost $875. "However, we can offer a $105 coupon :)))WOW!!! What a bunch of scammers!!! When I spoke to them, I was passed around to a few people and then to a woman named ****** who is probably one of their best employees at handling the upset customers. She was operating based on a script and it felt so shady!!!These people need to be SHUT DOWN!!! Their business structure is baiting and manipulating customers. They are thieves!!! I purchased 3 airline tickets on Southwest from them. I received a call the next day stating they arent confirmed and we cant travel, nor can we bring any piece of luggage, except 3 pounds. They continued to ask us to upgrade but wont guarantee our tickets. I called Southwest and they stated they do not work with the company. They also stated that is fraud because if it is a southwest ticket it does include luggage.They advised me to cancel my tickets because they are not securing my seats. I purchased a flight through their website and received a booking confirmation email. I then received an email and phone calls saying there was a problem with my ticket. They said I would lose my non refundable ticket if I didnt pay them more money. The ticket had not even been purchased yet. On 11/30/24 I purchased a round trip ticket for ***************** through Fareporto and upon arriving to the airport at 5am was told they did NOT have a flight reservation and that I had to purchase another ticket. I want my $214.38 back. What do I do?
