Our employee has a different recollection of the conversation with the customer. We can exchange the alleged defective part for a new one. ********** does not warrant labor or progressive damage due to a failed part sold over the parts counter and not installed by an authorized dealer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a defective EGR cooler would not damage other components. The customer may contact ***********, our parts manager, at ************************ or by email at ******************************** to arrange the exchange and sign the claim form we need to provide to **********.Initial Complaint

To our knowledge we have not had any direct dealings with this customer. This customer dealt directly with the company that establishes territories for this business which is a bin cleaning route using the equipment that is manufactured by them. The agreement that was submitted is between them and that company. We sell and supply truck chassis to that company which in turn builds and mount their equipment on it. Most of these trucks are Isuzu which come from *****. Since COVID, there has been a tremendous shortage of trucks and just about everything else due to supply chain issues. This has created long wait times for vehicles to be shipped from the manufacturer together with significant price increases on everything. Without speaking for the company who the customer is dealing with, there have been real delays in getting the type of truck needed for that use along with significant price increases which we pass on.
The customers frustration is quite understandable given what we are able to understand from their complaint. Unfortunately, she needs to reach a resolution with the company she has the contract with. We are in the middle here and need the company in question to give authorization in order to proceed. We are more than willing to assist the customer once they have reached an agreement with the company and we get some type of authorization from them.

I am rejecting this response because: On August 30, 2021, ******************************* Finance Director for *****************, LLC sent me an email stating that I was approval under my business name which isn't formed yet for the truck chassis. ******************************* stated in the email I needed a down payment of $29,630.96 and that the interest rate was 8.2% for 60 months at $2428.00 per month payment. On September 3rd, 2021, I wired a down payment of $29,630.96 from my bank account to ***************** LLC account at ****************** of *******. On 9/23/2021, I complete ***************** LLC credit application. I am not sure what type of business agreement they have with the ************** trash bin cleaning company; however, to my knowledge my money was wire to Truck Max LLC account for the down payment for the truck chassis. It has been16 months, and I just want my deposit refunded back to my account.
Sincerely,

The customer has been in discussion for with ************** and their attorney. They have agreed to fully refund the monies that the customer did advance and the funds have been placed in escrow with their attorney.
The customer just needs to respond back to the emails their attorney has been sending her for the past couple of days. Once she approves the settlement, their attorney will wire the refund for the full amount that she advanced. This should resolve the issue so this complaint can be closed.
