Compre un vehículo Mazda 3 del año 2006 en este "dealer" el día 27 de setiembre del presente año por US$ 4,100, bajo el AS IS sin haberme indicado que seria bajo mi riesgo todo lo que se presentara en adelante luego de la compra. El mismo día regrese de Miami a Boca Raton sin ningún inconveniente. El problema empezó el día siguiente a menos de 24hrs el carro comenzó a fallar de la nada perdiendo potencia al momento de acelerar quedando los cambios en 3. El tablero marcaba AT y los cambios no respondían por momentos quedando prácticamente botado en plena avenida Glades Rd. Tuve que llamar a una grúa para que pueda trasladar el carro donde un mecánico. Luego el mecánico indico que el motivo era el modulo de transmisión y que la reparación me costaría US$ 3,100. Avise inmediatamente al dealer pero obviamente con ellos no era el tema se desentendieron deportivamente como ya tener clara la respuesta para estos casos. Simplemente te ayudo con la grúa te mando un mecánico para una segunda opinión, es lo que ofrecieron. Uno espera al comprar un auto usado que este se encuentre apto para ser conducido siendo razonablemente seguro y sin problemas sustanciales. Lo que hicieron conmigo es exponerme a un riesgo dado que si esto me hubiera ocurrido en la I-95 al perder potencia de la nada podría haber ocasionado un accidente pero el dealer a eso poco o nada le interesa por lo cual tomare acciones correspondientes.

 

Translation: I bought a Mazda 3 vehicle from the year 2006 in this "dealer" on September 27 of this year for US$ 4,100, under the AS IS without having indicated to me that everything that would appear after the purchase would be at my risk. The same day I returned from Miami to Boca Raton without any inconvenience. The problem began the next day, less than 24 hours later, the car began to fail out of nowhere, losing power when accelerating, leaving the gears at 3. The dashboard marked AT and the gears did not respond at times, practically being thrown in the middle of Glades Rd. I had to call a tow truck so he could move the car to a mechanic. Immediately notify the dealer but obviously it was not the issue with them, they disregarded sportingly as already having a clear answer for these cases. I simply help you with the crane, I send you a mechanic for a second opinion, that's what they offered. One expects when buying a used car that it is fit to be driven reasonably safely and without substantial problems. What they did with me is expose me to a risk given that if this had happened to me on I-95 when I lost power out of nowhere it could have caused an accident but the dealer is little or nothing interested in that, for which I will take corresponding actions.

We are truly sorry to hear that something like this happens to anyone who purchases a vehicle. We do everything within our power to check all vehicles prior to being sold. We try to only sale vehicles that are road worthy once they have been mechanically check. As everyone knows when you buy a used vehicle, you always have the risk of something not working or breaking down. No one can guarantee that a used vehicle might not have problems; it is a risk that everyone takes when purchasing a used vehicle from a dealer or anyone on the street. We always advise and have no issues with potential buyers bringing their own mechanics to check the vehicles prior to making their purchase.Especially a 2006 vehicle. Every buyer is advised that the vehicles are SOLD AS IS. the above buyer was ask to bring a mechanic , He came in 3 different occasion to test drive the vehicle.We offered the buyer that he had the option to purchase a service contract thru an outside company, before the purchase and he replied by saying NO..  Buyers always have the option of purchasing extended service contract that are available for added peace of mind. It is very unfortunate that this has happened with this vehicle, which it is something we do not  experience with our vehicles and our buyers. We had no way of knowing that a transmission module was going to stop working since the vehicle had performed with no problems while it was checked and was tested three different time by the customer on three different days.should this customer  would like to reach me. here is my name and telephone. ****** ************
