      The valet parking returned my car with a scratch ***** They didn't admit it is their fault and refused to provide any compensation. They didn't do the job for taking care of a customer's car. I would like the company to refund my parking fee of $120.

      On Friday October 1st, I attended the H20 Capital Partners Summit at Mr C Hotel in Coconut Grove. I used the valet at the hotel to park my Mercedes C350. Upon exit, the valet attendant acknowledged the inside door handle on the passenger **** of my car had been broken, apologized and had me fill a complaint report saying South Park Management would call me and let me know where to take my car to get the inside door handle fixed. A week passed *** no one contacted me so I sent an email with a copy of the claim receipt and a picture of the damaged door handle. They answered that it was a wear and tear damage and they were not responsible which is absurd given their valet personnel acknowledged the damage and gave me a claim form to fill. Their business practices are unethical and they should be investigated and reported.

      Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/11/12) */ The door handle is a wear and tear item. The attendant is trained to apologetic if any issue, with or without fault. Also we do not use the passenger **** door, only driver side. We apologize for the inconvenience but our decision still stands. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/11/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The response from the company is not acceptable. The door handle was torn by the valet attendant who admitted to the damage and said Southpark Management would call me with next steps to get my car fixed at their expense as they broke the door handle. In my previous note, by mistake I typed it was the door handle on the passenger **** when it is actually on the driver side of course, the side valet personnel would use. In the response from the company, they mention they dont use the passenger **** which shows how little diligence and care they have placed on this complaint - by now they have received a few calls from me, a couple of calls from the Hotel manager at Mc C Coconut Grove and should know exactly the case this complaint is referring to. I am attaching the claim form the valet personnel had me complete and a picture of the broken door handle on the inside DRIVER side of my car. Thank you.
