Several months ago, I enrolled in this company due to a false claim by their member. He had made a landing page showing a list of names and stating that these people would be enrolled under me if I signed up before they did. I enrolled and have been paying 9.95 per month. Several months in, I still don't show anybody enrolled under me. Also, I have a friend who used my link to buy products, but the company gave me no commissions for that purchase. These people are dishonest. They didn't show a contact number on their website, so I have emailed back and forth. I asked for them to cancel my membership and stop charging my credit card 9.95 per month, but they won't acknowledge the cancellation and continue to charge the card. I decided it's time to file a complaint.

On 10/20/2023 I attempted to enroll in Live Good Inc. to make money through sales. On 10/27/2023, I emailed Live good asking for help getting setup. Later that day my team member emailed me, so I asked Live good to disregard my cancelation. Nothing useful was provided. So, I requested cancellation again and never heard back. I was never signed up correctly to be a paid member. I did not know how to correct the issue. Unfortunately, Live Good communicated by email. Search for customer service number and there is not one. I repetitively sent email asking for help. Days and weeks past and still no help. Around the middle of Dec. **** reaches out to me and I explain that I paid $139.00 to become a member and earn commission through my team. ****, informed me that I am only pre-enrolled, which means I am not eligible to make money. I asked him to cancel my membership and return 1 00% of my money. I feel this is right, it is fair as I received no assistance at the beginning, We are not given ph. numbers for support. It seems everything is through email. I paid to be an enrolled member to earn commission, and this was never established. I am asking for $139.00 be refunded and nothing less. Live good seems to be a scam- ponzi scheme. To date I am still emailing **** requesting a complete refund regardless of the policy as it was Live good's responsibility to be proactive and help me properly setup and establish myself. How does a business that does not provide a phone number to call. I tirelessly googled online and there is no legitimate working number.

      12/21/2023

12/20 Company returned half of my paid amount. I want the other half as ********************** does not have appropriate measures in place to call for any ty ********************** pe of assistance. Again, everything is done by email and chat, and both can be unreliable. If ********************** provided a customer service number to its "members" or "associates"- whatever they choose to call it, I truly believe this matter would have had a much better and faster resolve.

It is abundantly clear that Livegood has chosen to abandon this process just as they did with my iquiries. This company is a blood sucking scheme that must be exposed for what is is.My claim shall remain the same. I want a 100% refund and plan to take whatever actions necessary.

      Business response

      01/10/2024

We do not have a customer or member with the name ********************* in our system, nor have we ever received an email from any person with that name.  It's possible they are in our system under a different name and/or email.  But without knowing the name or email in our system, we can't specifically look into their account.

Regardless, it appears that our policies have been professionally followed by our highly-trained customer support staff.  It seems this person's only real complaint is that we don't offer telephone support.  Our email support is very reliable, responsive, friendly, and accurate.  All emails are responded to within 48 hours, and most the same day.

We've found that email support is much more efficient and functional for our business, and that's how we choose to operate.  As much as we want to keep all of our customers happy, and we make it a priority to do that, adopting telephone support creates unnecessary overhead and does not align with our business practices.

I am rejecting this response because
The business response makes no sense. Who is *********************?

Additionally, you admitted to not having a customer service and you cannot guarantee all messages are returned within 48 hours. There is nothing that is perfect. Everything has a glitch. This is your way and tactic to not accept responsibility for dropping the ball an not being accountable.  This is pure arrogance! It is a shame that you will choose to let such a small situation that can easily be resolved  cause you negative publicity. With your complaint history, I should not be surprised. Health products are a huge industry and there are plenty of platforms I plan to use to share my encounter. I guarantee  you will ultimately loose more than the money you have stolen. You have a choice. You can make this right and we both move on or you can continue to be the the unprofessional a** that you have shown me you can be and risk losing customers by word of mouth and reviews, which are the 2 most effective tools to a business.

"We do not have a customer or member with the name ********************* in our system, nor have we ever received an email from any person with that name.  It's possible they are in our system"
      Sincerely,

      *******************************

      Customer response

      02/05/2024

I never mentioned a *********************. I do not know what the Livegood business is talking about. This goes to show he does not even know my name. Livegood has me in their system because if they didn't how could they have refunded a portion of my money. Now all of a sudden they don't understand. Let's deal with the issue like professionals, let us be fair and honest. IF Livegood was so morally upstanding, the right thing would have been done, which is a full refund. Livegood admittingly stated they lack resources where they can be contacted. This proves that I had no chance of a resolution in a timely manner.

Livegood- You know my name and it is not this ******* person. You know my name, you have my credit card information, your processed and charge AND YOU RETURNED A PORTION OF IT BACK.... so you know me. RETURN THE REST, stop playing games and put this to rest.

On 9/14/23, I placed 2 orders w/ LiveGood ***** Both orders contained 2 containers of protein powder. Since the orders were addressed differently, they accrued different charges: 1st order (*******) was to be sent directly to ******. I was charged more, at $74.17.I was charged $58.94 for the 2nd order (*******). It was to be sent to a freight forwarding business in **. Thereafter, this business automatically forwards the respective pkg to another country, according to its address. On 9/18/2023, ** CSR, ******************, confirmed:Pkgs are being shipped to the address uploaded at check out. What ever address you show is where they will be going.I provided the correct shipping addresses at each orders checkout. I also downloaded PDF copies of each orders invoice. Thankfully, I did that, because, later, ** somehow UPDATED both of these invoices to show the SAME ** freight forwarders shipping address. I know this was later done by ** because:1. I have the ORIGINAL invoices, w/ the ORIGINAL addresses.2. After I made my discrepancy known to **, I checked the invoices on my ** account and I noticed ****** address was no longer on the 1st invoice. In its place was the ** address! I didnt ask for nor authorise any change in the shipping addresses on any of these orders.Because ** incorrectly addressed the 1st pkg, it obviously did not reach the intended **. Instead, it was sent to the ** Freight forwarders address. This was NOT a personal address.** claims that, because **** successfully delivered the 1st order to the ** Freight forwarders address (which ** wrongly addressed on the pkg) that it was correctly delivered and not their responsibility. I argue that I never addressed the 1st order to the freight forwarding business in ** ** did that and, so, this IS their responsibility.I requested that ** reship ****** order to ****** address. Thereafter, I requested a full refund, instead. ** refused both suggestions to resolve(...Continued on the attachment.)

On June 17, 2023 I purchased a business affiliate account at the suggestion of a friend for $139.95. My intent was to use products at discounted rate and my friend, along with the incessant emails I received from LiveGood, portrayed it was possible to earn passive income (which as soon as I became an affiliate all of the dozens of possible downline potentials vanished). I took some before ordering products for several reasons. Number one, I was told by my friend it was a one time special deal so I took the plunge because of the "one time special" without regard to focusing on the business until I had more time to sit down and look at it. Number two, my family had some health concerns and it took some time to discuss with their doctors their situations and therefore a pause in beginning any new supplements. It was discovered that the supplements were not going to be beneficial to my family so I decided to cancel my membership on July 6, 2023. I reached out to the email provided through the website (as there is no known phone number) and I was informed their policy is that 100% refunds are given in 7 days and 50% afterwards. ******** with customer service refused to explain why I would only be receiving a $49.95 refund. I sent numerous emails to inquire why my $139.95 purchase was not being refunded by 50%. Only after I suggested I reach out to BBB did ******** explain that yearly membership charges are the only charges valid for a 50% refund. The business plan, products, potential for income, etc are all very misleading but especially the policy about the refund as the policy does not provide any information about refunding or not refunding the affiliate charges.

Thru a local Aussie lady I joined LiveGood on I think it was 16.5.23. It is only within the last week or so I have found that this company may not be trading correctly. I am no whiz when it comes to business however I do have a little knowledge.I was told that to join this biz I would have to pay US$9.95 for monthly membership & then there would be an initial sign up fee of US$40. So all up this cost me AUD$75.11. I am familiar with MLM type companies & have been with a few of these over the years however this LiveGood seems to operate differently.1. I do not have to buy any of their products.2. I pay the 2 fees mentioned above to get me started.3. I pay a monthly fee of US$9.95 for membership.4. I personally introduce 2 new members so that LiveGood can start paying me.5. There is also some benefit of US$0.25 for each person in my downline - however this does not appear to start until I have signed up 2 personals. You may correct me if I am wrong however all the above seems a little unethical to me.Bottom ********* thinking is: I am paying LiveGood US$9.95 per ********* don't have any obligation to buy their products to maintain my membership. Then I encourage two or more folks to do exactly the same. And so it goes on & on. Pay the monthly membership fee & then initial setup fee, don't buy any products to maintain membership, encourage others to do the same.So I am paying $9.95 monthly so that I can get others to do the same.I trust I am explaining this correctly & you are able to understand where I am coming from. I have been thinking about this for a while & on the evening of 15.6.23 I have cancelled my membership.I would greatly appreciate your investigation into this matter please.Sincerely,*************************** ********* e: ************************* e: ********************* m: **** 553 766

I do not have any contract agreement . I joined LiveGood on approx 16.5.23.  Yes I am concerned about the $$$ I paid - however my complaint is more so in respect to the way this company is trading.  You pay US$9.95 per month to be a member.  I also had to pay a US$40 once only joining fee.  I cancelled my subscription on about 15.6.23 as I had realised that the way LiveGood are operating seems illegal to me.

You pay US$9.95 per month for continual membership.  You do not have to buy any of the LiveGood products.  Once you have joined 2 personal members up you may start to make a few $$.  As there may be spillover in the matrix you may be paid $0.25 each for these members.

I have been with quite a few global MLM type companies & none of them have ever traded this way - it seems to me a person who joins & becomes a member pays US$9.95 per month so they can introduce others to do the same.  There is no requirement for a member to buy LiveGood products.   Is this legal in US or elsewhere?

I trust this info is helpful.

I have reached out to this company multiple times to cancel my membership. No response. I read and followed their policies and procedures for requesting a refund and cancellation of membership but several weeks have passed now with no refund, no cancellation, and no response to my several emails. I do not want my cc charged for a membership I know longer want. Thank you.
