We have taken our dogs here for about 10 years. Every time, they try to add fees and charges that we do not want or need for our dogs. We had a similar instance to GU P below, and we should have looked for another vet sooner, but we try to give people second changes. Recently, weve boarded our dog twice and they took advantage of us while we were out of town. Our dog tends to not eat as much when hes boarded. This time we were told that they cannot allow our dog to loose weight and if we did not agree to allowing them to give our dog Entyce to stimulate his appetite, then we would have to pick him up We were stuck, so we agreed. We gave them our/his food to feed with, however, they charged us for some special food that they stated we agreed to, however, we did not. We reluctantly agreed to a one time dosage of this Entyce and required a call back the next day to see if he had eaten. They did call and informed us that he had eaten, but never even mentioned some special food. And how can a 28 pound dog eat 10 cans of dog food in 3 days (this is what we were charged for). I told them to take off these fraudulent charges and they refused. I then, reluctantly agreed to pay since my neighbor was there and kind enough to pick him up (break him out of jail really!) and then they refused to take my payment over the phone! They made her pay! They told me that I had a choice, I could leave my vacation right then and pick him up and pay; or she could pay; if either of those didnt happen they they were keeping him until the next Monday when we actually returned from vacation! They threatened to hold my dog hostage! My neighbor was kind enough to pay, but they threatened her and required a copy of her license when they ran her credit card! They also did not return his toys, nor any of the food, that apparently he didnt eat! Again, this isnt the first time weve had to argue with them over charges, but with the other instances we were there in person. I should press charges
