on 4/9/2022 ***** owner/repairman came out to my home to look at my fridge which was cooling and freezer was not freezing. He told me that I needed a new Board and Defroster which totaled $696.07. He did the repair and stated he had 3yr warranty on the parts and the fridge would easily last me another 10yrs. Less than 3 weeks later I had to call him again stating that I was still having issues. He came out took the board off which I was not home when he did it he then text me a pic of the board with a Bug on it and said this is why the fridge was not working. I have a regular pest service and no bugs in the house. He told me he replaced it and showed me a board when I got to my house. Less than 2 weeks later fridge stopped working again. I called him he stated he was in the hospital (it was memorial day weekend) He told me he would come out and replace the sensors for free but never came and he only said that after I asked him for a refund. Fridge kept going in and out of service ***** never returned my calls after that. Today 7/29/2022 I had a new company come and look at my fridge/freezer which told me at first it was the defroster part then after I told him I had it fixed in April he did some more testing he noticed the sensor to the defroster was never replaced and said it should have been when the new defroster part was installed. He could tell that a new part was installed and when I should him the receipt which also had the board he told how I was overcharged for the parts and labor and he tested the defroster and ruled that out.. He stated it is either the board or the sensor that was not replaced. I replaced the sensor and he told me that in a week I should know as if it is the board I will see frost inside the freezer again. He could not tell if the board was the ordinal or an new one. After researching ***** more I found bad reviews on google and yelp where others were scammed out of money. I entered a dispute of charge with my bank today.Initial Complaint

Called firm for refrigerator repair. ***** *****, owner, came to repair. Ran some tests determined that a circuit control board need to be replaced and would need to order it. Date 04/24/2022. Total costs would be $819.16, collected $489.10 to order part. Paid with credit card. After 2 weeks contacted owner to find out status. Was told part was in but owner had death in family and had to take care of it. Tried to contact owner multiple time since with no response as of 6-19-2022. Call another company that fixed my problem for $170. My research showed others had experienced the exact same scenario with this company.Initial Complaint

I do not know what authority BBB has, but this guy needs to be investigated, fined (and/or jailed) and he needs to be forced to return the stolen money!!!! C&S Appliance Repair ***** ***** **** ******* ***** (This property is owned by ***** ** ********) **********, ** ***** ******************************** ************ *******-**** Took a bit of work, but I found the "Business" address, the property owner's name, and these photo's on the internet. "*****" stole over $500 for a refrigerator repair the HE DID NOT COMPLETE!!!! Turns out, this is not unusual for "*****". A bit of research and I found this complaint on Yelp : *************************************************-**********-2 ****** *. ****** ****, FL 9/21/2021 UPDATED!!! ***** of C&S Appliance Repair is a thief and elder abuser. My 91 year old mom called **** at *** ******** to look at her refigerator while I was out of town. He charged her almost a thousand dollars for "parts." He avoided her for 2-3 months until he finally showed up. He left and charged her another few hundred dollars...for more parts. When I got the invoices to review, I saw he had charged her over $300 TWICE for the same parts. I called **** and ***** of CNG Appliances (**** had hired and then fired *****)...they inspected, photographed and then repaired a burned out wire on my mom's Whirlpool refrigerator. They said that ***** DID NOT INSTALL any of the parts he charged my mom for except for ONE SENSOR...which did not fix the refrigerator.And did NOT add up to all the parts he allegedly ordered and charged my mom but DID NOT INSTALL. ***** LIED AND STOLE from my mom. DO NOT USE HIM. I am reporting him for Elder Abuse and theft. I WANT MY MOM's MONEY BACK!
