I called the company after sending an email asking them to cancel back in May of 2023. The young lady got information and advised that she had canceled the account. I moved from ******* to *******. I received another transaction of $32.24 in the beginning of June. I thought the cancelation had not hit my account in time. I was then charged $32.24 in July and now August 1st.Customer response

My son went to wash our car, it was perfectly fine before entering the tunnel as their own video footage shows, when it came out the left tail light was broken and the blower separated it from the car, they say the use their equipment is on user’s risk, and this is unacceptable, something broke the light in the middle of the tunnel and that’s how air got into the light and blew it off. They refuse to cover the damage based on their disclaimer, users don’t have access to turn off the blower at will, it’s Gate’s equipment used to provide the service they sell, and they should be liable if their equipment, which should be safe for any type of vehicle, fails. Apparently if a truck has a hitch on, it will cause damage to their equipment if it goes into the tunnel, well, I have a truck (I have 4 vehicles under monthly subscription with them) and they make sure there is no hitch on the truck everytime, but if the damage is to consumer, they just don’t care. The lady I spoke with tried to downplay my argument saying I was not there when the incident happened, but she was not there either, she is going by the same video I’m going by, that shows the blower separating the outer layer of the light from the light assembly, but the same video also shows the car entering the tunnel with the lights in perfect condition. Her name is ****** ****** and she determined that they won’t do nothing to correct the damage to my vehicle. I think that their disclaimer is a blatant disregard for the consumers that keep their business running, and they should be liable for damages caused by their equipment to vehicles that are in perfect condition, or if they are going to blame the consumer for the damage caused by their own equipment, the user should have a way to dismiss the use of the same, or they should moderate the intensity of the air hitting the cars, but they can’t just sit and watch how their machine destroys peoples cars and tuen the eye from it.
