I submitted a service request for my AC using American home Shield. They assigned this AC company. I had to wait over a week to be seen. And then I was given a 9-12 pm. When he really showed up at 3pm. While at my home with out testing anything or doing anything he claimed that my issues were pre existing issues and can't be covered. With out any clarification. I had work done on my ac unit over a year ago. Based on his statement AHS wouldn't cover it and now sending a 2nd set of eyes. My AC has been working just fine until now. So..bottom line is that this company is untrustworthy And they will say whatever necessary to get out of doing a job. Keep in mind my AC unit is only 3 years old on a new home.

Mr ******* you tried to scan the warranty company. You claimed to have had the lineset replaced by a separate company 3 weeks ago and they charged over $2k to do so
and wouldn't warranty their work when the problem persisted. So then you decided to have a policy with ahs less than 10 days and attempt to portray that it was not pre existing when it 100% was. I came to service your home on July 4 2022 i updated you throughout the day and said I would call when I was on the way I apologize for running behind on a holiday but there was communication in regards to that so you were aware. While there I did test your system, you've changed your story on every post so far. The unit is 3 yrs old yes, but was not installed by me so you're very misleading in attempting to make it sound like that was a fault of mine. The reality and truth of your situation is you attempted (unsuccessfully) to have AHS pay for work needed that was 100% pre existing and pleaded with me to lie for you so they would cover it.Customer Response

The unfortunate truth about this situation is that the actual repairs for the AC unit was done over 60 days ago. I have a work order of the work that was done by the prior firm that confirms it. You are the one that stated 3 weeks and not I. My ac has been working just fine since and I had decided to sign up with AHS because of the prior issues I had and to provide protection to my home and equipment as advertised. Unbeknownst to me my ac began not cooling again. ( keep in mind this is after 60 plus days of working just fine) then for you to assume it's pre existing is completely un fair and un true. Regardless of the fact. I wanted other consumers to know about my experience that you have created.Review from Marcia J

This company have worked on my air conditioner multiple times. After I've complained of my conditioner leaking the technician is now refusing to fix the issue that has been caused due to their negligent. I now have to fix this problem on my own.
