I booked my stay at hotel Effie in April 2023. After a 7 hour drive I arrive they said no reservation. I showed them the emailed reservation that came directly from them and the text from the day prior saying welcome. We are excited for your stay. It took over an entire hour to get me a room key after 4 people behind me were assisted. My issue is that they overcharged. The reservation says 599.20 a night Wednesday- Sunday. She says that’s not right. I said that’s what my reservation says. This hotel is a rip off. They stole money from me and put me through to get a room I booked two months in advance. No warm welcome like the customers behind me either.Business response

The guest's folio has been adjusted to match the confirmation email she provided and the guest was contacted to advise of the error and correction. A voicemail was left for Ms. ******* by our Director of Front Office, Sophie ***********
