  This engineer created a fraudulent document stating he had inspected my roof prior to my purchase of the home and said the permit number was to be issued later. None of which os true. First a structural engineer can't request a roof permit here in Florida I found out. Second I don't believe he ever inspected this roof.

  On April 19, 2023 I wrote Aaron ****** a check for $750. I was told the total fee was $1,500 to do an engineering study and plans for my carport. Half was due as a deposit with the remaining $750 due at the time of completion and delivery of the plans. I was told at that time that I would have the plans in 10 days. I also told Mr. ****** that I do not not email. As if today, June 14, 2023, I still do not have plans from him. I obtained plans elsewhere and the carport is 100% completed. I have made numerous attempts to contact Mr. ****** and he us not communicating with me. I have requested a refund of $750 (which has been cashed) for breech of contract.

  Mr **** built this carport before he had plans for it.  He contacted us to get plans after the fact.  He signed a contract with us on 4.19.23 (attached) for 45 days completion.  He paid half up front.   When the drawings were complete on 5.16.23 (attached), we contacted him to set up delivery and he said don't worry about it, I already have it done.  He did not contact me to have me stop work so he contractually owes me for the full amount (additional $750) that was completed according to the contract he signed.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  Why would I want plans for a carport if I already built it?  At the time I met with Mr. ******, the carport was not started.  Furthermore, I was verbally told 10 days for completion at the time I gave him the check on 4-19-2023.  I do not recall signing a contract.  I would think that I would have a copy if the contract and I do not.

  Please see the photos taken on site at the time I met with Mr ****.  They are taken with Company Cam and they are time and date stamped.  The carport was already built.  He wanted the plans because they carport was built without a permit and needed the permit to get straight with the city.  I'm attaching the agreement that he signed in person that day as well as the photos.  Both were sent in my previous response.

  Mr. Harris drew plans for a carport for me. These plans were useless to me because they were for a wooden carport which I could not possibly afford and no one would have told him to draw up such plans. I talked to him explaining this and he agreed to send me the money (500.00) at least three times. The last time was two weeks age on a Saturday when he said he would put it ($500.00) in my mailbox on Monday. This did not happen

  Ms ****** asked us to do a job, signed an agreement (attached) and paid a retainer.  We completed the job, she paid the 2nd half and we emailed her the drawings (attached).  She later asked us to email the drawings to her contractor, which we did.  She then called and said she didn't need drawings to do this job and wanted her money back.  She was told that she can't do any structures on her property without a permit and she needed our drawings to get a permit.  Her contractor told us he was out and not doing a job without plans and a permit.  We also have notified Lee county as she has our stamped, completed drawings and now wants her money back.  As the plans were emailed, we have no way to stop her from using them after getting her money back.  She was quiet belligerent and not wanting to deal with her I said I would give her a refund but never gave her a time frame.  The refund was mailed out last week.  We are out time that we spent on this project, on site, on the phone with her, on the phone with her contractor and money to pay the drafter to do the work.  And on top of me trying to be a good guy, she files a complaint on me when she was not even owed a refund, but I graciously gave her one.

  Please Please talk to her on the phone and you will see exactly what I'm talking about with her attitude and belligerence.

  Aaron ****** promised my husband and I house plans in 30 days and we signed a contract stating this in April of 2021. It has almost been a whole year and still no plans. This has caused us to miss out on the low interest rates to build our house and now we have been denied for our previously approved loan.

  Business Response /* (1000, 17, 2022/03/23) */ I sent the attached letter out to Ms *****, on February 14, 2022. Ms. ***** asked me to write a letter to her first mortgage company about her employment in November 2021, which we did. At that time, she was trying to borrow more money than she was qualified for, due to change in employment with her household, it had nothing to do with plans not being completed. She changed the plans repeatedly, first bigger and then smaller. Ms. ***** switched do a different lender of her own volition, while still employed with us. As the attachments show, we did at least 3 versions of budgets for her in December, all at her request, the total went from $423k to $464k, back to $400k, all changes that she made because of her borrowing ability, it had nothing to do with the plans not being available. She was given an original set of plans and then asked for changes to make it bigger. After those changes were made, she decided to go smaller. Ms. ***** never had a loan approval, only a pre-qualification, we work with clients every day, my wife is a real estate professional, these are not the same thing. Ms. ***** directly contacted several of my clients, after she turned in her resignation, without my permission or consent, and I caught her in that act, and told her that I would pursue legal damages, which is why all of this has come about. I produced her plans (twice), I produced multiple estimates at her request, and this is my final position on the matter. I respectfully request that BBB remove the bad review and close this investigation, immediately, so my reputation is not further damaged. I never once contacted your clients, every one of them contacted me during the 2 weeks of resignation that I gave. Each client was upset and mad that you took money from them and never provided the promised services, just like you did to my family. We paid you $8,600 for a FULL set of plans. You literally emailed a half-done floorplan from Britt ***** (your first designer) June 26, 2021. He never finished my plans because you owed him money. I have spoken to him directly on the phone and through email. Now during all of this time my bank needed a full set of plans and builder package to be completed by you and you did not even attempt to do either of those things until October 4, 2021. My husband and I were invoiced for a full set of plans on July 30, 2021 and we paid the remaining $6,133 for our promised full set of house plans that we never received. You have zero proof of this because the plans were never completed. All you gave us was the preliminary floor plan and 75% of the drawings were wrong. Because you dragged your feet so long on this I had to have another Architect create our drawings. My husband and I had to pay even more money for that to be done. You owe us our money back for the plans you didn't produce. It doesn't matter who you paid or haven't paid to get them done, it was never completed like you promised in your contract or in the timeframe you stated. You had your wife send me an email on February 28, 2022 stating you would refund us the amount of $2,300 out of $8,600. You never dropped a check in the mail and you completely lied again. I 100% know now that after dealing with you, and working for you, that we wouldn't get our money back. You still to this day have not refunded our money to us and I hope people avoid you like the plague. You are a complete liar and shouldn't be allowed to hold an Engineering license in the state of Florida. Your reputation is already trashed by how you choose to do business and treat people.
