Hector Sanchez aka Doctor Restoration aka Doctor Carpet should not be trusted to do any work in someones home/business. He came out and quoted us for a complete renovation of our kitchen counters, back splash and cabinets. He verbally gave us a price of $4,500 for the entire job, after we had purchased our quartz counter tops and he took hold of the quartz we paid for, the price for the kitchen and cabinets became $8,000 (at this point we were committed since he had our quartz and it was a verbal quote). Please be advised to get everything that Mr. Sanchez says in writing, he is untruthful and cannot be trusted. He does not have a contractors license, He does not have a team of people that work for him, he is outsourcing every part of your job to the lowest bidder. He misrepresented what he was going to do and then blames the customer for the misunderstanding. He said my wife and i are difficult to work with, but was only difficult after he misquoted the job, showed up late on every occasion and had every excuse in the book for not showing up on days that he promised to be here. Excuses included COVID, Arm Pain and Jury duty. The job should have been done in a month and took him 3 months to complete only part of the work. He delivered and installed the quartz countertops and then disappeared leaving my wife and I to find someone to finish the drywall that he ripped out, tile, grout work, plumbing and all the small items that go with a job of that size. Basically we have spent an additional $1,000 and a ton of time to correct everything that Mr. Sanchez was supposed to do. I never write reviews like this, we are decent family that always pays contractors and works hard to come to an understanding when things don't go well. Mr. Sanchez took advantage of our kindness and took our money and did not complete the work. Save yourself the time and hassle and don't have him even come out to your home for a quote, this is not a good person/business.
