I am filing a complaint against my contractor:***************************** File Member: P22000011621 Company: JG Sunshine Home Remodeling ************************************************************** ************ License Type: Certified General Contractor ***** was working on our place and we gave him money as he was doing work but we havent talked to him since April 24 2023. He has taken our money, also. We sent a text and told him that he was no longer our contractor and we want the left over money back. We believe that he owes us between $20,000 and $25,000 depending on the work he did not complete. Please see the attached copy of the money we gave him and the work he did not complete. Also attached is some more information about what I found on *****.Note: He told us he was a licensed contractor but apparently that is a lie.Thanks *************************** ************Business response

In Response to the complaint of *******************************, acting as an honor contractor. ******************************* like a contractor ordered to do a removal of all the derbris and garbage around property which include couches, beds, clothes, all damaged items from flood. For that he Paid $6,000, after he realized the sheetrock, the ceiling and walls and he realized the floor was rotten, the jois and plywood. It was replaced with new jois and 2 layers of plywood. 1 Exterior door was closed and 3 windows were installed, all of this cost $10,000. Later on a new lay out of walls were done and new bin was installed to make an open leaving, total was $6,000. A 70% was replaced of roof truss and new plywood deck was done total $12,000. Plumbing repair the drain, hot and cold water, and new valve for the bathrooms was $7,600. Repair 30% of exterior siding was $3,600. Pay for the engineer to make the plan for roofing was $4,500. Note in all of this ************** always acted as Owner Contractor.
In total job was $49,700 was done.
