We Compromise LLC started our driveway since July 15, 2023 and they have yet came back to finish. My husband has reached out to them numerous time and he keep saying he's coming saying next week different dates and never showed up. My husband paid them the balance that was due knowing that what was left to do was minor and entrusted that he would return to complete the job. We then noticed another major problem when my husband turned on our sprinklers the water is coming out of the concrete and that means the connection they did with the sprinkler system was not done properly. We reached out to him again and he said he was coming September 30 and of course he didn't show up. We just want our driveway and porch completed as promised. We can't even water our grass now because our sprinkler system is messed up.Business response

My company was hired July 2023 to provide an accented driveway, walkway, and porch. 90% if the request was completed. Porch and walkway are the issue. The initial request included a rock purchase with installation that the customer requested be removed from the estimate as they would purchase and install them themselves. The initial concrete pour was completed (3rd party concrete company that the customer was aware of). The customer now requests a clear sealant and rocks be installed by us. At the time of installation, the weather conditions were horrible as it was the peak of South ********* rainy season. Of July, August, and September, forecasts show that there were only 11 days of clear skies during these 3 months and for a thriving landscaping business that's not many. There were several customers affected during this time, forcing us to change schedules as needed. There were 2 prior attempts to correct what the elements had ruined. The customer was advised that it would be resolved once the weather conditions permitted. The first available date for the concrete company was 9/30 and the customer was advised. A text message was received the evening prior that included foul language, we opted to wait an additional day or so as the message seemed hostile. There was an attempt to resolve the irrigation issue while on site. However, the electrical wiring at the property was faulty and tripped the power twice. The check valve on the irrigation pump is also installed incorrectly on the wrong side of the pump (not by us). Extension cords were noticed being run in the backyard, but for safety concerns, they were not touched. We tried to make these updates on the weekends as the customer chose not to pull a city permit. The customer still has a balance due for sealant/ labor and rock installation labor and the final remaining balance of the initial estimate. I have included a final invoice in my response. To resolve this issue, we would rather forfeit the final balance and not return to avoid any further issues. Our intent is always to provide the best customer experience.
