      I purchased a vehicle from this business 09/15/2024. The total amount is $5,785.60. The day of purchase I paid $4,000 and was agreed to finance in house the remaining $1,785.60 split in 3 monthly payments of $595.20. I made a payment 10/16/2024. I was promised the registration and plate a week after initial purchase, so far they have provided 2 temporary tags, which they told me it's the max allowed they could provide. They have told me multiple times that they had the license plate, when I arrived to pick it up they always have an excuse not to give it to me. I have offer to pay the remaining amount to obtain the car ****** and they denied my offer. At this point, they don't answer my phone calls, they're not taking my payments and I'm unable to obtain a license plate and ****** for this car. I have been in person to the location and they refuse to give me an answer or provide documentation needed. I have offered multiple times to pay remaining balance to obtain such and I have been ignored. They have hung up the phone on me multiples times and have been extremely rude. I was also promised that they would fix the faulty trunk of the vehicle and also they have made me drive to the location multiple times with scheduled date and time and when arrived they just say the mechanic left and this has happened 5 times.

      Mrs. ***** , already received her metal plate and her title within the time allwed. So this sissue has been resolved even if she clans it took longer than she expected. However we now have a theft claim against Mrs. ***** and her mother because after making the full payment of the vehicle with her mothers debit card and obtaining the tag and title they went ahead and disputed the payment creating a chargeback to our account after receiving the goods thats she paid for.

      A car was financed through ****************** Accounting number ********. My father went to the dealership and paid off the car on June 16th. The dealership has not updated ****************** on thr payoff. I spoke with *****, a manager for the dealership and he told me we had to contact ******************. I sent an email to ******** and they told me the dealership needs to call and update the account. The car payment continue to get auto withdrawn, with interest since June. The dealership is giving me the runaround. I have called several times and either there is no manager, they do not speak English, or I'm told to contact ******************, which I did. CAN you please assist? Thank you

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 22352768, and find that there is some confusion. The payment was not located at the Miramar dealership, but the dealership in Homestead. I'm not sure if that is their Headquarters or a different company.       Around june 27 i paid the business 500 through cash and 500 through cash app as a deposit from a grand jeep i was told to wait a couple of days for it to go through with the bank after 3 days i was told it didnt go through because the car didnt have the proper title paperwork i was told to wait another week for new cars to come in and i would be offered a loaner until then when i went to pickup the loaner i was told the owner kenya never left such instructions fed up with this i asked for my deposit back and was told new and meant with **** remarks from the manager after multiple attempts over 4 days i called the police and made a report and when they came the police said this business gets a lot of reports but since they mainly target improvised individuals with low deposits and payments and false promises to get the deposit not many go after them legally because of the cost and time and when the owner saw we called the police she said wow okay have fun getting this money back now on their ****** reviews they have countless individuals reporting the same problem theyre running a predatory business that takes advantage of low income individuals and steals theyre money

We told you the refunds have a process that can take up to a week because the accounts payable only disburse  checks only on Modays, however you instead decided to take this a step further and incolved other departments into the matter without a reason .       This company, Miami CarMax in ********* charged me $***** more than what it was supposed to charge me. The owner *************************** has not been honest and has not been available to try to resolve this issue. My niece has also written to her to request a meeting and we have been unsuccessful. This is why I decided to write to BBB in the hopes that theres a resolution to this problem. ******************* said that the ***** was for this "supposed" insurance, however, later she told me that she had gotten me a better deal with another bank that they did not accept extra insurance. The first contract I signed was for ******. However, the 2nd contract I signed on Friday, February 23 with the bank and I finished at 7:00 PM. That contract showed an extra *****. (see pictures) Saturday morning my husband and son went to the dealer to get the extra ***** and the employees told them that she was in Miramar (another dealer they have) and they told him that the papers were in *********. They told them that the owner would be back at 1:00PM, that was the first lie. She never arrived that day. On Monday the 26th, I went to the dealer again when she arrived, she hardly even said hello at the time, she called us in to her office and when I spoke to her she told me that the contract could not be cancel but that she can return the $1000 maintenance fee. However, it would take a month to arrive. However, after many months I have been unsuccessful getting a refund of my $1000 and she refuses to meet with me to discuss this matter. I hope that BBB can help me with this issue.

The final contract is the one she signed with **************** and she is holding a copy of it since she demonstatred as an attachment. Any other contracts prior to the last one that ***************** signed were null and void. Aditionally we dont hand write on our documents everything is printed.       Incident of transaction occured on May 9th, 2024. The amount given was $2500 plus $750 trade in on my old vehical as a downpayment. The business has not been occomodating as they are no longer returning my calls. They did try to resolve the issue by giving me a loaner that needed to be jumped. and then a second vehicle to use as a loaner. Thats when I asked for my old vehicle back, as the lyfts back and forth to work were starting to add up.

      Unfortunately, customer has a Suspended Driver's License, she stated she was going to fix the problem but she hasn't been able to do so at this time because it's multiple issues that need to be corrected, due to that fact she's unable to obtain Insurance; As a car dealership It's mandatory that vehicle leaves the lot with Comprehensive and Collision Insuring protection against loss or damage to the vehicle. Customer indeed took back the car she was trading in and as for the vehicle she was purchasing; We took car off market/ front line and held it for over 1 month, it is her responsibility to take the necessary actions to reinstate her DL and obtain Insurance. We have not stopped communicating with customer as stated.

      I am rejecting this response because: This was an unfair business transaction. Although my license was suspended at the time, the dealership had no problem taking my money and letting me leave with said vehicle. I don't see how that falls under my responsibility when it was the dealerships job to allow that transaction to happen or not. It is their line of business, they should know and stand by the rules I wasn't even aware of.

      Subject: Dispute Regarding Vehicle Purchase - July 6, 2023**On July 6, 2023, I purchased a vehicle for $19,289, with a down payment of $2,500, and have made nine monthly payments of $357.22 each. Additionally, I paid $1,500 for repairs and service. In total, I have paid $7,214.98. Despite this, I have not received the vehicle's registration and my calls and messages went unanswered.Recently, *****************************, who signed the contract with me, informed me that my vehicle would be repossessed due to a title issue. They refuse to refund my money, claiming I have used the car. According to my investigation, the vehicle has a lien in ***********, meaning they sold me a car they shouldn't have sold. Due to their negligence and lack of communication, I have lost clients as I have been unable to use the vehicle. Furthermore, on May 29, 2024, my vehicle was taken without my consent.I seek resolution and a refund for the total amount paid.Sincerely, ***********************************

      Bank who offered financing to the customer asked for the loan to be repurchased by us, due to a title problem, not allowing us to obtain the title. We spoke to customer explained the situation and mutually agreed to void his contract and release him from any financial or contractual obligation while protecting his credit. There was no monetary loss on his end as he had possession of the vehicle and drove it for almost 1 year, putting miles and causing wear and tear to the vehicle which causes depreciation.

      I attempted to purchase a vehicle January 15 I went to dealer car depot, and they instructed me the car I wanted was at their other location, so they advised me to leave a deposit and come back to pick up car in 2 days I returned 2 days later car was not there so they advised me to look for a different car that was on the lot at the time. I had already done research on all the cars that was on their lot and discovered most of the cars had rebuilt titles there was only 2 cars that did not have an rebuilt ****** so I took a closer look at a 2019 **** fusion and was told I was approved for it so we went through the process the manger ***** asked for 2500 but I made her aware that I only had 1600 she said fine you can finish paying within 2 weeks so we finished process and I made manger aware to have mechanic check out the dashboard due to a light was on she stated it will be handled I left dealer and returned 30 mins later due to I was instructed that the car was now officially ready I immediately drove home next day I woke up and light was back on I took car to lot and instructed them of the issue Manger ***** advised me to leave car and it will be handled so everyday I constantly texted her asking for updates and she will not respond so 1 week went by still no update going into week 2 she finally reached out and stated car will be ready that day and never followed up after so I showed up to dealer asking for updates and she stated the mechanic took the keys so I proceeded to go look into car that was parked on the lot and discovered someone personal belongings in car through this entire process my credit was still being ran by this dealer so it seem to me that there was no financing at this point so I kindly asked if I could have a refund due to it was now going into 3 weeks since I had vehicle every day for this past 3 weeks I have been texting asking for updates and has got the run around .

      *********************************** Came to our lot we showed him few cars always disclosing whether car was a clean title or rebuilt, he stated he did not want any rebuilt titles, we proceeded to show only clean titles, he liked a vehicle that it was not at our lot, we had the car transported, he test drove and saw vehicle he liked, we proceeded with the sale, he signed and took delivery of the vehicle on 01/15/2024 and brought it back a few days later for repairs( as a light came on). We agreed on fixing the issue at no extra cost, we did a diagnose and proceeded to order the part necessary for the repair, we took vehicle to the mechanic and at all times maintained customer informed of this, it took 2-3 days because part was ordered then installed. Once the vehicle was ready for *********************** to pick it up, he started texting and calling the manager stating he wanted his money back. Unfortunately, there is no option for a refund as he has signed a contract, took possession of the vehicle, we have corrected the issue the customer reported, vehicle has been here waiting for him, furthermore he failed to pay the amount owed as part of the downpayment for $435.50 due 1/29 and furthermore it would be a breach of contract as stated on the retail installment contract he can not cancel the purchase due to him not wanting the car, the car has no issues and it's fully operable.       The manger of the dealership ***** made me aware that my bank verification failed 2weeks ago so how could the car be ready for pickup I have been reaching out for them to send a letter to progressive stating I do not have possession of vehicle and no one is yet to respond . This dealership is horrible and not professional first off your saying I owed 435 but previously you told me I owed 835 due to I only have 1600 dollars at the time of me attempting to purchase car .       I went to this business to inquire about a *** 328, after looking at it i noticed it had a couple problems and they assured me that they were going to take it to the dealership to get everything fixed. After speaking with the manager (*****) she asked if i wanted to leave a deposit just in case anyone else tries to buy the car and i agreed to leave ****. She assured that i will get a full refund if i end up not wanting the car, she even wrote it on the receipt. The car did not move from the dealership for 4 days during this time they were still calling me every day to ask me to send in paystubs. Since i started to feel uncomfortable by how they were acting, i just requested my refund. When i showed up to collect my check, i was informed by ***** that they were now going to charge me a pro rate despite her saying nothing any of this or not showing me any policy starting that. I received a check worth $700, I didnt have a problem with them charging a prorate, its totally understandable. My problem is that when i cashed the check at a check cashing store, they called me a couple days later saying that the check bounced. When i spoke to their payroll, i was told that she was in contact with the store and i didnt have to worry. She also said i didnt have to call the check cashing store which was weird to me but i dont let it bother me. Then a few days later i get another call from the check cashing store saying that i still need to resolve the check issue and that they havent spoken to anyone. I called their payroll back again when she stated a second time that i dont need to call the check cashing store, she will take care of everything. Now almost a month later Im still receiving calls from the check cashing store telling me that there is still an issue. The last time i called as soon as i told them my name, they placed me on hold and hung up on me.

      Customer came in inquiring about a 2011 *** 328i, gave deposit to take car off the front Lot  and hold it for him, while we found an approval for the customer since it was special financing due to credit history, we asked him to send in paystubs to confirm income and verify employment, while maintaining customer informed and explaining the process of obtaining an approval, once we received an approval from ****************************, we tried to contact customer numerous times, he was no longer answering our calls and 8 days later we received communication from the son who then stated that his father had purchased a cheaper car in cash and was no longer interested in ***. We offered customer a credit to purchase a vehicle in the future since he we held car for over a week and took the time to negotiate an approval/ financing for him.
