I placed an order online with perfumania.com. I ordered 2 bottles of Boucheron perfume.The day the order came there was 1 bottle of the perfume plus some samples. There was no packing slip.I emailed, customer service and they asked me to send pictures and the packing slip.I sent the photos and again told them there was not a packing slip. I received no response.I emailed a second time and received no response.Business response

Hello,
We are still investigating this with our warehouse and carrier; however, we have submitted the refund in the amount of $37.50 to the **** ending in 6822 for the missing item. Customer will also be notified via email of the refund. Please note, it may take 1-3 business days for the fund to reflect on their account.

Purchased a perfume on 12/19/23. Was told it was fully refundable. Kept receipt. Did not open package. Attempted to return it on 1/3/24 at the same store. Was told the store did not accept returns on this type of perfume. Reached out to main contact line at headquarters and was told that was not true and we should have been refunded. Sent an email and was told that the district manager would follow up. No one ever contacted us.Business response

On behalf of Perfumania, Id like to apologize for the discrepancy you experienced when trying to return your *************** **** ***** fragrance at our ********, ** store location. This was a valid return and there is no reason you shouldve been turned away.
Ive spoken with both our Store Manager and District Manager regarding your experience, and you are more than welcome to return this item for a full refund at any one of our Perfumania store locations. If you choose to return this item at a different location than the store you purchased it in, please let me know so I can personally speak with the store manager to ensure you have a seamless return process.

9/20/23 - I received an email advising that my online order had shipped and was delivered to my home address via ***** Upon my arrival home from work said delivery was not delivered to my residences. Upon contacting this companies so-called customer service team (email/and call) I was advised it would take them 5-6 days to investigate details of deliver from (their preferred delivery choice ****** On 9/25/23, I remitted a follow-up email requesting a status update on my delivery or refund, and to date I have been advised that this company will not be refunding me my $330.01 or re-sending me my items via mail wherein I can sign for the package upon deliver etc. Only advised that upon their investigation the package left their warehouse and was delivered per **** (and we all know how reliable the **** is without a signature for items deliver). I am now in a situation where in I have to **** with my bank on this item and/or file a lawsuit for my funds to be returned. Apparently upon the reviews I have read this is an on-going behavior for this NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE ************** I will never order from this company again and will advise my friends and family to avoid this company as well.Business response

Hello,
The customer currently has an open chargeback with the bank. Once a chargeback is open, we are unable to submit the refund. The system does not allow the refund to process with an open chargeback. However, we did accept the chargeback in hopes the bank the will resolve this matter with the customer as soon as possible. Proof that we accepted the chargeback is attatched.

A family member was kind enough to purchase an expensive men's cologne for me for Christmas (12/25/2022). I opened the bottle, sprayed it once & realized it was way too strong of a scent for me. My family member kindly gave me the store receipt from a Perfumania store in ********, **. I went to the store on 12/27/2022 with the item and receipt to exchange it for a different men's cologne. Before I could even complete my reasoning for wanting to exchange the bottle, the woman behind the counter stated: "We do not under any circumstances accept returns or exchanges if the package has been opened." When I asked how someone is supposed to know on Christmas if they like the scent unless they open the package and spray it, she responded that she agreed, but it is corporate's policy, and there was nothing she could do. I am not asking for a refund; I simply would like to exchange it for a different cologne. The product was $105, and I do not want that to go to waste.
