  Hire DA Construction to work on deck . On contract a crew was to come out. Only sent 1 person. My materials were not used and charged me for material not needed. Contract was for 28 thousand. Gave 14 thousand down. 4 weeks later 1 piece done and paid out over 20 grand in labor. Ow owner Alan says I owe him 15 grand more. Only thing done is replace 1 window and beam put up with wood they purchased and charged us for. Not our wood that was there to be used. He was rude and threatening. If I don't pay him the 15 some odd thousands of dollars he said will put lein on my home. 1 worker is not a crew. Tring to resolve this. Willing to end with no problem if called even.

  I had a leak coming in my chimney and called a company whose name I obtained from the Tavares Chamber of Commerce(of which I am a member of the Board of Directors). The were called KA Construction but now go by the name DA Construction(www.dabuilds.net). The owner, Alan T******* responded and sent an employee to give an estimate. It was determined that the chimney needed to be rebuilt. The existing cap could be used. The flashing would be replaced and the interior damage to the ceiling of the florida room would be repaired. I signed the estimate and the work was completed. Months later, after a rain storm, the leak was back even worse than before. The damage to the ceiling returned. I contacted Alan who sent someone else out. Then another person came and looked. His response is that the leak is coming from the cap(unwarrantied) and the chimney needs to be rebuilt again, with a new cap, new flashing and roofing. He wants another $4300 to do this.
