I had this company come out and service my A/C unit. The Technician said he could not find the leak in my unit and said that the unit I have is a very bad unit and they always have issues. He said he can help me with buying a new unit. My house and A/C unit are both 2020 year built so I should not have to replace it after only a few years. So I told him no. He said it would then be another $200 for a test to see where the leak is. I told him to recharge it, and I would call back when I have more funds. He put two pounds into the unit came inside said it was working when my house was not cooling and reading 85 degrees, and left. My Mom who lives with me found a company who said they would do the same test for $70.00. So we had them come out, and take a look and they said you could clearly see the unit just needed to be cleaned. This is my first home so I did not know that you have to clean the unit and service it yourself about once a month. So the new tech charge $265 to clean and show us how to service it ourselves as well. The Technician Joey from Lakeland A/C charge us $227 to come out try to sell me a new unit and put in two pounds of the coolant. I have called this company a few times to get a refund. I am not being unreasonable or yelling or cussing at them, and now they are ignoring my calls. All I want is a FULL refund.
