      I dropped off my **** GTO Convertible on my appointment on 10/9/23, 9;00 am, I went over the list with **** the owner items to be repaired and was told 2-3 days in the shop, I visited the shop twice during the 10-day duration and noticed it was worked on sporadically, I went over with **** again the top items to be repaired.. That I need to get my car out! 10/19/23 10;25 am I was at Summit to Pick up my GTO and noticed right away my directionals did Not work!! I told **** while still in the shop and in my car!I then was told by the Mechanic **** to switch out the ($60 Flasher that Summit charged me) To buy a two prong Flasher? I immediately went to ********** parts on the way home purchased a two-prong flasher for $8.34 After installing it I found out a two-prong flasher is the only flasher my car takes!! And the Directional`s that I paid $197.90 + $59.88 (flasher) $257.98..Total.. Still Do Not Work!!10/20/23 The very next day I called **** Directional`s still don't work after a new different Flasher! I also told him the Transmission Slips after he serviced it,He said to call him on Friday! 11/2/23 I went to Advanced Auto to purchase 1qt oil $9.99 and 1qt Trans. fluid $12.00 (see receipt $28.72) ******************** done at Summit were down 1 qt. Also, I was Over Charged $50. for a tin clip he found in his tool box that he clipped on the Transmission cable while the car was already up on the lift for the ********************** I am Very Dissatisfied with Summits Overcharge Techniques! I also showed my Summit repair bill to Licensed Tech he said the very most to change the Oil Pan. gasket would be $2-250..Not $347!!I was Charged $148 + $347=$495.. Total.. Minimum Overcharged.. $100!I would like $340 back, I think is very fair, if not I will file a complaint with the BBB. and a post on Yelp! Sincerely ********************

      I expand to *** when he dropped his car off that we would work on threw out the week as we were very busy, He agreed, also explained to *** that we dont know how long it would take till we did the diagnoses. He agreed. **** the tec had spent over 3 hours going threw the wiring of the car to find out what the problem was with the directionals. the tec found that the ballast that hold the bulbs, the wiring to them were bad and had to rewire them. the tec found also the flasher was bad and replaced it as well. the tec changed the oil pan gasket and we showed *** everything that was leaking under his car. we also changed the transmission gasket as well and filled to spec with transmission fluid. tec took the vehicle for test drive found no issues and car shifted fine. tec put car back on rack to recheck for leaks and found the repairs good no leaks on repairs. when *** picked up his car we went over the bill and explained everything. we walked out side to his car showed him everything that was done and in working order when it left. no complaints at this time.  Days later *** called and said the flashers were not working again and it felt like it may be shifting differently. I told *** to bring the car friday morning and we would be glad to take a look and see what was going on. he never showed up and never called us. we will still honor our work if its something we repaired, but we cant fix it if he doesn't bring it back.

      I am rejecting this response because: I was very specific when I met with **** the week before I dropped the car off, having 8 Classic cars and experience with Teck`s before and  after going over my list of 3-4 items also must use Fender Covers! I made it clear I want my car back as soon as you can I dont want something to happen to it the longer it`s here and It must be kept inside! he agreed  I asked how long will it take? he replied if you bring it in on Monday 7-8 am 2-3 days, I visited the shop two times in the nine days it was there and it was never worked on every time I was there the seat was apart but it sat all apart on his bench, the other visit car up on the lift and the Tech was  working on a full motor job!  I asked **** on my 2nd visit what is taking so long? he said other jobs,       
      I had taken my car to *** & Sons around the corner from ***** shop the moth before to fix 3 items one was the New parking light, directional unit I purchased they put it in the lights worked but Not the directional! they told me if I brought it back it``s most likely a ground wire! I asked them after is it possible a Tech would charge me 3 hrs to fix that ground.. He said Only if he was blind!! And while I was picking up the car Finally on the 10/19/  Nine days later I saw that the Directionals Still Not WORKING! That's when the Tech Bill leaned in and said I would have to go buy a two prong Flasher for them to work! which I did and they still dont Work! The VERY NEXT DAY I called **** told him after installing a new Flasher that you charged me $60 for they still Do Not Work he said call me next Friday!! If you think *** going drive all the way back 45 mins and leave my car with you again after you had my car 9 DAYS and still the Seat you supposedly repaired skips on the track does not go bk & forward like I was told it would after paying $300 for that too!  It``s a matter of principal Not getting what I paid for after 9 days of waiting I think that keeping my car that long you may think justifies your unethical billing practices!  I really dont  wamt to go bk and forth about this I want $340 Back  which is very fair if not I will Post this on Yelp for a month!

      I informed this customer when he first came in that we would have to inspect the car first to see what is going on with the issues he had concerns with before i could ever give him a time frame on when it could possibly be done, so no i never gave him a time frame , working on cars this old tend to run into alot of issues do to age. not to mention he had asked me to take the seat out because he had an appointment to have it recovered  by a local shop, witch i had out the next morning waiting for this guy to pick it up and never did, i called the customer and informed him of this. the customer came the 3rd day and picked the seat up and took it to the shop himself. 2 days later after he accused that shop owner of loosing a side panel off the seat and he said he got in the guys face and was almost a physical fight. I informed my customer that the side panel was inside the car and that the other place didn't loose it, he said that they were going to get him a new pice and not to say anything to them about it,  Again showing his character, not an honest man. As far as his claim again that the singles did not work we all stood in the garage and went over the car and all repairs done, He would have never came back in and paid a bill clearly if they weren't in working order. I will not be scammed by this man for any amount of money. Again if there was a problem i told him friday morning to show up and we would take a look to see what's going on he never shoed up or called.  And as far as his threats go about posting bad reviews on yelp for a month, Clearly shows his intent , i will not be extorted for money by a dishonest man by the threat of a bad review.
