We paid $125 to have Carter Fence come out and give us a quote for a fence. We were later told it could take up to 2 weeks to get us a quote. Seemed like a long wait to get a quote but we said no problem and have been patiently waiting. It has now been 16 days and we still dont have a quote. I called the company and the lady that answered the phone was very nice. I asked her if I could have the quote and I was politely told it wasnt ready. I explained that I would like a quote today or if that isnt possible then I would like a refund. She explained the $125 was non refundable. I explained I would get that if yall were honoring your commitments of two weeks but at this point it has been 16 days. I explained that I would really like a quote today or have a refund. She politely asked if she could put me on a hold which I said no problem. A gentleman answered the phone saying he was one of the estimators. He said that the quote has been done for 2 days and under review. I explained that we were told that we would have a quote in two weeks. This has not happened. I would like a quote by the end of the day or would like a refund so I can get someone else to install fence. ***** replied to me, I need to understand there was just a hurricane and that I need to be understanding of that. I explained that I am a business owner myself and I am understanding. However, the hurricane was long before this and yall are the ones that said two weeks. ***** replied it has been 13 days. This is a lie. It has been 16 days at this point and I am just trying to get a quote that I paid for. Not a reputable company. Poor communication. Poor integrity. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a fencing company.
