Our first meeting with ************** was excellent, he exceeded my expectations. Super professional, teacher and a great listener, very compassionate, he focused on the explanations of each medication and pathology so that my husband and I understood everything in detail. We were very satisfied. but we are happy to be in the caring and professional hands of Dr. ********************** NCH *************** won the lottery with ****************************Review from Julie C

This place has no customer service! I visited them late at night in February after splitting my lip. I was told it would be many hours to see a doctor; I said I wanted to get my cut glued as it was a facial injury and they said they would only stitch and not glue. Accordingly I decided to leave and told them I would leave. Nothing was said. Some weeks later I was shocked to receive a bill - couldn't even figure what it was for as from Utah. I wrote - no reply; I called (more than one number) and no reply - and can't use callback feature as I'm overseas; I contacted them via website to Billing and later when no reply also to CEO. I've written on Facebook and Twitter. I've tried the 'chat with us' feature at least 100 times - always says all our agents are busy (presume there aren't any!). I contacted by email to the MyChart department - and eventually got a reply asking me to call!!!!!! I have received further bills every month. Avoid this place at all costs.Review from Deborah E

Hard to even give one star. My daughter , who is an RN was admitted for observation while having a severe anaphylactic reaction. The ER doctor spent 5 minutes talking with her then proceeded to write in her medical notes that he suspected a psychiatric condition. How he could determine that in 5 minutes is nothing short of unprofessional and a severe lack of an accurate diagnosis. She remained overnight and recently received the bill that before insurance $14,000. Outrageous for what was done. She was given no food or water for hours and was actually told by her nurse to stop crying, despite her being in pain and being visibly very swollen. I would never choose to go this hospital again.Review from Kim C

I brought my husband to the ** this morning. The place was empty, which was a pleasant surprise to us. As we were walking well, I was walking. He was riding in a wheelchair to the ** room. We walked past 25 clean spotless rooms. We got to room number 26 and that was the room they picked for us. They walked past 25 clean ones we got in there. There was a bottle of urine on the floor. There was trash all over the floor and they put my husband in that room. This is unacceptable I am totally disgusted and I will be filing a formal complaint.Review from David S

Very unprofessional.to get result,taking week or more.especially office manager ******** was absolutely very rude talking the customers and hand up on patient.Very disappointing department orthopedics I'm strongly not to recommend it.Review from Pamela A

NCH Vanderbilt Immediate Care Fantastic care and very thorough- I saw PA- Danielle D*****, was very knowledgeable and understood my current chronic autoimmune issues. She took all the steps by issuing me medications for my immediate needs explaining why I needed blood work to do so. She even explained what medication I was on that needed to be discontinued while on the new course of care( my specialist previous said the same thing when I alerted them what was going on. While the whole staff was incredible - Danielle stood above any care I ever received from an urgent care facility. I highly recommend this office and confidence in getting the correct treatment- she updated her notes, instructions and meds prescribed to my Doctors office. She is the best! Last March I went in for an annual wellness visit that should have been covered 100% by my insurance. NCH incorrectly coded the visit and I've been chasing them ever since. One of the NCH doctors claims he saw me even though he works in a different location and I was seen by someone else. I've followed up with Patient Advocacy several times and thought the matter was closed. Apparently the NCH billing department and business practices remain deficient as I'm now getting billed again. NCH is an example of a bad healthcare organization with at least one morally corrupt doctor who either flat out lies or is incapable of telling his patients apart.Review from Kim L

It should be a negitive number!!! Absolutely the worst trying to get a refund after being overcharged for services By Creekside Endoscopy....terrible, that were not performed. NCH has almost $3000.00 of mine since October 1st and I have heard every excuse known to man!!!!! They claim to have released a check on 12/21/23......It's now January 11th and no check. I'm sure a staff member there would not be happy if it was them!!! NCH is all about money!! NOT the patient.I recommend never give them up front money.Review from Dawn U

1 star only because there is not an option for a negative number. I am absolutely beside myself trying to get my mom in to see her doctor that she saw all last year using the insurance she has had for a few years....they say that they can't see her because they are not the *** (her insurance has her *** in Michigan because that is primary residence and the insurance does not allow for out of state ***). I called insurance and was told they (*** doctor) could see her as a specialist, no problem at all. *** says absolutely not (they even went as far as to say that ********** lied to me) but will not even call the insurance company to discuss! Nothing on her insurance has changed but *** is blaming them for all of this but refuses to help or make any calls. How did they see her for a year and now cannot?!?! I was even told they "lost a lot of money and are cracking down"...so healthcare must be solely about money at ***. She needs to be seen and I begged for an appointment 3 weeks ago and said we would self pay if insurance was not figured out in time. Appointment was supposed to be next week and now I find out they cancelled it because of insurance but didn't let us know. I was just told it was illegal for us to self pay if there is insurance. I have spent no less than 10 hours on the phone trying to get this straight. If an elderly person does not have someone to help and advocate for them, *** would let them die before helping them. The entire system should be embarrassed about the treatment of their patients. Personally, I would drive 6 states over before going thru the *** system.Review from Varri L

NCH Pediatric Dr. could not diagnose my 4yr old granddaughter. She came in with a slightly swollen eye Friday night and within 12 hrs her eye was completely shut and in pain. They tried oral Benadryl Saturday am. Swelling continued. At noon ******************* came in and said they would administer Benadryl every 6hrs. We inquired about the next dose at 2pm, the nurse said ******************** did not put the order in. And we had to ask the nurse twice as she forgot to follow up with the Dr. on the 2nd dose. 2nd dose received and no effect as the swelling increased. Saturday pm we begged for a steroid to reduce and stop the swelling. No Dr or nurse had even looked at her eye until that evening, ******************** finally ordered 1 dose of steroids. The swelling didnt increase. Sunday noon a new ************* came in and gave her another dose and wrote a prescription for oral steroids for the swelling and sent them home. The steroid could have been administered initially and my granddaughter could have been home resting. But instead NCH wants to bill for 3 days room charge. All the other rooms were empty around us. Ridiculous waste of time and money.
