I came across a beautiful vehicle and decided to initiate the process of trying to obtain the vehicle via their website and that eventually by text with the dealer manager Dave. I sent over all needed information regarding my trade in and all the other things that go along with obtaining a request for financing. At the end of the day received a text that they were closing and would touch base in the morning. I thanked him for his time and look forward to hearing from him in the morning. I never heard from him so reached out via text and he proceeded to tell me that there was another client coming in this morning regarding the Jeep. I asked if the financing had been sent over and he said to me no we did not pull your credit until we had the numbers in the ballpark. That's not what was said to me the night before. He had sent via text a purchase price for 72 months along with all the other criteria below it and asked me if this would work and I told him yes. I feel it's poor business practice to allow someone else to buy a vehicle that you the day before had started to purchase. This dealership never even submitted my paperwork to them from my pre-approved lender. I missed out on a great opportunity to own a vehicle I've waited my entire life to own because of mismanagement at this dealership. I am extremely disappointed and feel this is poor business practice. never once did they say first come first serve.
