      The service department of Naples Germain Lincoln, gave me a price for an oil change and other work they felt my car needed, i felt the price of 270.00 for the oil change was to high, and I told Henry I would check with my husband and call him back within an hour, when I called back, within the hour, and told Henry I didn't want the work done, he told me the oil change was done, it was 306.00 and he would need a visa number to make payment before the car would be delivered to me, I cancelled the other services of over 2,000.00, I paid because we needed the car. I have contacted Lincoln car co, and they contacted Germain 3 times in two weeks, before Mike contacted me, he said there was a misunderstanding, i said I made it clear to Henry, I was putting the work on hold until he heard from me and he had done the work without my approval. The car needed an oil and if the price was reasonable I would not have a complaint, but I called 4 Lincoln Ford dealers for a price for this service, which includes a list of several additional services dealers do called The Works and the prices were from $59-89. Mike offered me a free oil change next year, when we return to florida for the winter, i said my husband was very I'll and we weren't returning, so that didnt work. He said he would call me back, that was 3 days ago, After talking to him I went on Germain of Naples website and after typing in the year and model and mileage of my car, clicking on service, clicking on oil change, I came up with Lincoln priority Service, it list all the services listed in the Lincoln Ford dealerships I called. Their charge for these services is 145.00. The 306.00 did include synthetic oil which is additional, put i dont know how it got to their price, and my main complaint is the work being done without my approval. I feel I was taken advantage.of by Henry, he knew I wasn't going to approve the work, and did it without my consent. **

      I cannot believe the way we have been treated after being a loyal customer over the past 6+ years. I understand the difficulties with inventory and the auto market right now. We have been working with our sales rep to purchase our 3rd vehicle from this dealership. We did everything that we were asked to do. We were just waiting for a new Corsair to become available. Our Rep called to let us know one would be coming soon so went to the dealership to work out numbers but wanted to see the car before buying. I received a call that the Corsair was at the dealership on Saturday 11/6, one week after we worked out numbers. I drove over to see the car but was told by Mark G. the offer I was quoted could no longer be honored, the price went up over $1000 and was very rude about it. He also told me he was not able to honor a corporate mailer I received to save $1750 on a new car purchase. He said offer expired even though mailer said it was good until 1/2022. False advertising? Or were we being lied to? After leaving dealership and discussing with my wife, we decided to purchase the car anyway. (not sure why any more) I was not able to get back there that day so I let our rep know I would be there Monday morning 11/8 with a deposit check of $5000. For the Corsair. Before taking my deposit Monday morning our rep went around the dealership and made sure that there were no other deposits made on Saturday. He confirmed, no one else put money down on the car and took my deposit. The check cleared my account the next day. 11/9. We agreed that I could come in Thursday 11/11 with my wife to pick up new car. Thursday morning right before coming in I received a call from our rep. He told us the Corsair was sold to someone else that they made a deposit on Saturday. To add insult to injury we were also told we could not come get our deposit money back because our check did not clear yet. We called our bank they confirmed it cleared earlier in the week. I went to the dealership the next day. A refund check was issued but I was asked to wait a day to deposit it on Saturday. Not understanding exactly why I did so only to be told by my bank in Saturday that I could not deposit the check the funds were not available. I called the dealership spoke to a manager Patricia. She told me the controller is the only one who could fix the issue but they are not in on weekends. I would have to wait until Monday 11/15 to be able to get my own money back. Today Monday 11/15, I received a call from Patricia that the funds will be available Tomorrow 11/16. Not only have we been lied to about offers and been shown no customer loyalty, We are not able to get our own money back.
