Received a $100 gift card for my birthday (in June) went to purchase the $49 unlimited spray tan. She charged my gift card the $49 and used my debit card (still charged $1 along with the gift card) for future purchases. July I am charged $49 to my bank account. $100 should cover the 2 months. **************** was BEYOND rude. The lady at zoom tan took my gift card (apparently $51 still remaining on it). Zero help or reimbursement.

YOU ARE WARNED!!! They took my dl for the initial membership but I still couldn't access my acct to cancel. I went to the store they confirmed my acct is set up and everything is fine; nope still can't access account. They refuse to set up the account or cancel through support; you have to send them a pic of your license to some black hole email where you will never get a reply. These clowns are sick, their business practices are unethical/dishonest and I am disputing my card.

Zoom Tan ************ I wanted to tan one time. No deal.There w as a ***** unlimited special. I signed thinking it was a month. I only went not even a whole month. It cost 75$ for lotion bottle. Sample $18. I got that. I have been tanning since I was 16 years old. I'm 60 now. Stand-up beds only, no goggles provided, no towels provided. Only sales!! I live an hour away. I'm on a fixed income. They have charged me 4-5 months at $40.32 a month. They won't cancel if you call. They won't refund. Be Aware!! It's not worth it. Misleading!!!! Young girls maybe are only taught to sell. Cause every place you go to has goggles and towels. No caring here!

I spray tanned at Copper Tan for 15 years and never had any issues. It’s now owned by Zoom Tan. They sent out text specials which states $19.99 for a month of Sunless tanning or $9.99 for a month of tans. Nowhere on the text does it say that you are signing up for a $49.99 monthly membership. I went in to zoom in Wellington showed the girl, Savannah who was extremely rude and had no customer service skills whatsoever the text and told her I would like to do $19.99 for this month and save my spray tans that I have already on file. She says ok tells me she charges me the $19.99 and goes to clean the tanning booth. As she’s cleaning the booth I get a text saying that I just signed up for a $49.99 monthly membership package. When she comes back I tell her I in fact did not sign up for a membership she starts arguing and giving me an attitude. I tell her just to cancel it as I had no prior knowledge to it and she refused to cancel. Corporate will not do anything about it either. I will not be going back here.

Do not waste your money The tanning is awful and they have very limited hours. Unfriendly. Cannot contact a person and if you do, they will refer you to the website. Absolutely no customer service. After 15 years with Copper Tan Zoom took them over and I canceled my membership.

Zoom Tan doesn't even deserve the one star, but I had no choice. I was a member of Copper Tan for many years and had recently renewed my membership with a step-up so that I had privileges to each and very machine including the spray tans. Now, two months later Zoom Tan comes and and won't honor my membership. Everything I go I get a different story, i.e. "you need to pay fifty cents for taxes". I already paid the tax when I renewed. This is DOUBLE DIPPING. IS ANYONE INTERESTED IN BRINGING A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT? LET ME ****

Zoom Tan you have very bad management and never take care of your employees. It’s disgusting. Employees not allowed to call the police instead you have the IT tech watch the cameras and they can’t see every angle. It’s awful employees don’t get breaks or lunches because it’s always 1 person working. I have tried emailing you with to contact me me because you treated my daughter unfairly. She quit and went in to better job, better pay. After she quit you said she was fired. JENN the district manager. My daughter got hurt at work and she keeps getting a bill from well now and you won’t give her the compensation information. District manager is useless and corporate has been called and sent messages and no response. You are a disgusting company. How about wjen your AC WAS BROKE AND THE TANNING SALON WAS 99 or above. Employees and clients were getting sick in that kind of heat. Or how about the roach problem at your Lockport location and was reported several times by your employees and it was never taken care of. I would like to be contacted because 2 things need to be fixed. I am more than happy to discuss them but NO ONE EVER CONTACTS ME BACK. It’s awful to take advantage of your employees especially because they are mostly college students and you take advantage of them. CONTACT ME

What a scam! I'd go into details but I'm too angryto be reasonable. Suffice it to say that I agreed to one thing but they lied or either failed to tell me total costs. Plus, it isn't that clean and it is way to hot. Their billing practices are where they will rob you blind. I suggest someplace else. I won't be going to a Zoom tanning place again. It's a disgusting company model.

I have been a Zoom Tan member for many years. Have never missed my membership payments. I attempted to cancel my membership June 6, 2023, due to losing over half my monthly income. I sent an email explaining my situation, asking them to please cancel my membership, they advised me they "could not" do that due to me having a balance. My previous bank card was canceled (fraud), so June 5, 2023, payment was unsuccessful for them. I was told to pay June, use the duration of my membership, THEN they would be happy to cancel my membership. It did not matter to them, in the least, that I did not have the money to pay it. That they were literally asking me to take food from my children's plates, and they advised me they would not cancel until I paid. Who does that to someone who has temporarily fallen on hard times? They only referred to their "terms and policies". Apparently, rules are not meant to be broken in the Zoom Tan world. I am a microscopic organism in an ocean of members, and they refuse to allow $40+ to be waived.

So because I wrote reviews on Google regarding zoom Tan taking advantage of their customers, zoom Tan sent a text message to my phone this morning stating: "Good Morning Melissa, this is Zoom Tan. We have received your multiple reviews on Google and have decided to end our business relationship with you at this time. You were just billed on 6/14 for your membership which we will provide a full refund for and will be in your account within 3-5 business days. If you would like to reach out or respond, please email us. It appears zoom Tan is mad that I expressed myself on a review about how they take advantage of their customers. Zoom Tan will ban you from services the moment you give them a bad review and exercise your freedom of speech. Be careful not to leave bad reviews, they will retaliate. Zoom Tan brings in MILLIONS a year, yet continues to hike the pricing up on their loyal customers. This is such a hard time for so many right now with inflation on the rise, and zoom Tan just keeps sticking the broom up their customers rears. It's funny they do this, especially when they make out HUGE on customers that don't even use services all year, but pay for it, like myself. Another thing, they continue to raise the pricing, yet don't even want to accommodate their clients. The hours of 10AM-8PM are terrible. Little did zoom know, I was cancelling anyways lol planet fitness has a $25/month gym membership which includes tanning. I've been going for a week now and Tan is great, for half the price of zoom tan! Do yourselves a favor, cancel your memberships, stop being taken advantage of and go get a gym membership with taking from planet fitness, you'll thank me. Zoom Tan better take a long look at budweiser and realize how fast WE THE CUSTOMERS can make them sink! I'm a principals person and because of what they did today I will be on every platform warning people about zoom Tan
