I had my oil changed on 11/21. I was not asked what type of oil I wanted. The bill was for ************* at 3 times the price of standard oil. When I asked why I was told that synthetic is the only oil they used. I went home and went to their web page and found this was not true (web Page uploaded). I went back and complained and asked for a refund for the difference between the synthetic oil and standard oil prices. They played stupid asking what web page and again claimed they only use synthetic oil. I was unable to find the mobile web page on my phone. I went home again and downloaded the web page.I would like to be refunded for the price differential. I also do not want to deal with these people anymore. They are using deceptive business practices.

On 11/02/2021, I noticed that my engine's serpentine belt had been damaged by the tensioner assembly that had become frozen. I received a recommendation to take my truck to Southern Florida Car Care Center (GOODYEAR) for repair. Upon arriving, about 2:15 pm, I was met by Brady N. I told and showed Brady what the problem was and asked if he could fix it? Brady's verbal response was affirmative and the cost should be around $400. I thought it was great they could work me in and I would have them also change the oil / filter @ $100 (more work) as a thank you. A couple of hours had passed and the work was completed. This consisted of removing 2 bolts from the tensioner assembly and removing the damaged tensioner and belt. Install consists of positioning the tensioner and tightening 2 bolts and stretching the serpetine belt to its proper position. The oil change was also completed. At that time Brady N presented Invoice ****** for a total of $978.75. The breakdown was $812.12 for the belt / pulley (instead of around $400) and the oil change at $90.42. The invoice was presented in a way that I thought if I didn't pay, I would no get my truck back. So I paid the bill with the thought that I would call the General Manager the next day and have the bill corrected. I called the next day (2 times) to speak with the GM and was told he was test driving cars, not available, a note is on his desk that he would return my call...he never did. I then called the following day and asked for the GM and Brady N said he was the GM. I reminded him of our meeting / verbal and asked him about the overcharge on the invoice, that it must have been a mistake. Brady N said that it was no mistake, it will not be changed...I don't care who you call. I called the GOODYEAR corporate office in Akron, OH and the customer service representative apologized for the debacle and said that this company is an independent dealer for GOODYEAR and the corporation has no say in their business practices.

I purchased a battery with a three year warranty from this location. The battery recently died and when I went back to inquire about it, the female who claimed to be the manager was rude and demanded a receipt. I asked her to look into the records and she refused at first. Then she acted like she couldn't find my history of service. Then she suddenly found it and it felt like she modified it. The record showed itemized detail of everything that this business had perform on my vehicle except the battery part now showed "no product found". It felt as she was looking for every reason not to honor the warranty. These people know very little about customer service. This is all in addition to them screwing up my axel seals but that's a whole different concern.
