      To BBB,

Update #3 on my complaint against **** air conditioning of *********************. They also have 2 other locations: 1 in Hillsborough County and 1 in ********/Citrus County. On 12/19 AL, the manager, called me about my complaint against them. After explaining the situation, and ****'s attitude, I still wanted the contract cancelled and a refund (preferably the entire amount). The Manager said he will refund the contract fee of $100 and let me keep the extra year's contract for free. So every time they come out here for a service check on my ac unit they will find something wrong with it. Then overcharge me to fix the so-called problem or spend $8000+ for a brand new ac unit that I don't need. I informed him that I never wanted the additional year's contract in the first place (**** had slipped it in there without asking me first) so cancel it. AL, the manager, reluctantly canceled my contract and issued a refund check that's being mailed to my house. I will let you know if I received the refund check. Also AL the manager asked if I would recind (take back) my complaint against them. My response was no but I'll think about it and let him know my decision. Just letting you know that I'm not backing off on this complaint. Also their service trucks have been in my neighborhood (Briar Patch off of ******************, *********************). See what you can find out about their business practices so we can resolve this issue. If not then I'll go to the news outlet (Chanel 8's Better Call Benekin).

      To BBB,

Update #2 on my complaint against **** air conditioning of *********************. I called their ********************* office on 12/8 to tell them that I was cancelling my contract because I didn't need it. The secretary said she would let the service tech know and have him call me. On 12/13 *******************, the service tech, returned my call. He became arguementive when I told him that I was cancelling the additional contract because I didn't need it, thought that he overcharged me and wanted a refund. Also during his 12/7 visit he informed me that **** Air Conditioning had bought out ********** Air Conditioning of *********************. This was a company that my Mom and I had used previously and had complained about them because they took advantaged of us. The new company is doing the same thing to me so they can stay in business.

      To BBB,

Update on my complaint against U.S. air conditioning. On 12/13/2023 *******************, the service tech, returned my phone call about my complaint(s) against them. He stated that he had explained everything to me about the work he done on my A.C. unit. Also that extending my contract for another year had saved me money. He even told me that he had renewed the contract without asking me first. ************** had written everything up before telling me this. I have the paperwork to prove it. All he was suppose to do was check the ** unit, put in a new air filter and clean up the dirt around the ac unit. I informed him that I was cancelling the extended contract because his services were no longer needed. Also reminding him that he overcharged me. He refused to cancel my contract, denied that he did nothing wrong and that I had agreed to the work being done. Unfortunately I do not have the original contract that was purchased by my Mother (*******************) in March 2023. I cut the conversation short because he was becoming argumentive and that told me he did not want to lose my business. In the end I felt he took advantage of me to keep my business.

      TO BBB,

Current update on my complaint against U.S. Air Conditioning of *********************. I did receive a refund check (dated December 19,2023) of $99 for the service contract fee and the Manager Al did cancel the extra one year service contract (I don't know if he actually cancelled the contract). Also **, the manager, refused to refund the entire amount of $1978. Still not satisfied with this company, their attitude and the way they took advantage of me.
