I have had medical problems. I have not been able to tan since May 1, 2023. I have been in and out of hospital. Even admitted. I have been diagnosed with vertigo and vestubular migraines. Barely can walk some days. So I called to cancel and they said my husband can come and sign off but it will cost me another $43. So they have already gotten $172 off of me when I haven't even tanned and now they they wanna charge me a fee of another month of tan to stop. I told them that doesn't make sense your taken money from me when you see I haven't even been there. And now you wanna charge me to cancel because I have daily health issues and can barely walk at times. The manager hung up on me.Initial Complaint

Went to this salon to get a tan. I clearly explained to the attendant I have never been in a tanning bed before and was only going to tanning for a special upcoming occasion not indefinetly . She told me the only was to tan and not burn was to use a specific bed that was a higher level of package. I again explained only this one time wouldn't it be cheaper to pay individually? I did purchase eye protection and lotion that I willing to pay for but when she took me to the bed rushed through instruction because she was to busy with others I asked again. how do I turn it off? can I turn face off? and how long. She assured me 10 minutes would be fine.I again stated that seems like a long time I have light skin never tanned and blue eyes. Well I didn't last 3 minutes. I came out let her know and she was like oh well. Really I thought I was going to pass out no here sit down or do you need water just whatever and she went back to waiting on another customer.. Told her I would go online to cancel and she told me I had to do it in store then went in to the back . I was so nauseous I could not even stand in the building had to get in to my car and turn on the air. I immediately called the springhill location hoping I could speak with an owner. I got a manager who repeatedly told me what i ordered and that I can go back when there is a different girl working? really ?? she also stated that the bed I was put in was really hot and 10 minutes was "probably" to long for me. I stated I will NEVER be back just wanted a refund. She said they would keep ***** and the 25 sign up fee. I said for what???? The young lady put me at risk!!!! For 3 minutes there is no refund? Dont want to cause trouble but its just bad business to say maybe I can leave the owner a message or maybe you can go at a different time? God forbid I had any kind of condition I was never asked any medical questions just rushed through a contract. Just want a refund will NEVER use a tanning bed againInitial Complaint
