I called this morning to have the exhaust fixed on my truck. They told me if I brought my own parts they would charge me for labor but my bill would only be $110. Then they called me once they had my truck and told me they needed to add another part which would add another $50 to my bill for a total of $160. I picked up my truck and they informed me they did not use the part that they were going to but still charged me the $160 instead of the $110 that was originally agreed upon. They are now refusing to give me my $50 back and have kicked my husband and myself off of their property stating they are not issuing us a refund

We had our vehicle serviced at another shop in town and they suggested we have our manifold + catalytic converters looked at, so we took it to Muffler Man. The car was driven directly from the company in Edgewater to Muffler man (a few miles down the road) and no check engine light was on, as all the necessary repairs had been done. Muffler man worked on the repairs for several days. Last night we went to pick up the vehicle, after the manifold/converters were repaired and as soon as my wife got into the car, the check engine light was on and Muffler Man stated that there was a radiator "coolant" leak, which was not leaking before. My wife then drove the car directly back to the shop in Edgewater and they took a look at it today. They stated that there was a new "puncture" and now we need a new radiator. The puncture was right where the work was done at Muffler Man. When calling Muffler Man, they refused all responsibility. The radiator was just replaced and brand new in November & we have paperwork that shows a complete diagnostic was run on the vehicle prior to it being serviced at Muffler Man.

You should contact the business via USPS. I haven't been associated with muffler man since 2013. If you could remove my email and name from this business I would appreciate it. I have lived in Michigan since January 2014. I think that I have requested this in the past.

July 29, 2021 took our 2016 Acura in for an oil change and after their inspection, a brake job. On August 4 on a trip to NC rear wheel started making a noise/vibration. My wife stopped in SC and had tire checked out and was told the lugs were loose and the tire almost came off. I contacted Muffler Man, as a courtesy, to let them know. On September 1, my wife was returning to Florida and had the wheel checked out before she started the drive. Highway Tire and Auto in Sherrills Ford,NC said they did not see any damage to the tire or wheel, but that the brakes had not been done correctly. Their invoice for $70.31 stated "Inspected brakes. Found one lug nut missing and both rear rotors were missing retaining screws and pistons were incorrectly indexed. We re-indexed pistons, installed rotor screws and bled brake system". Informed Muffler Man and requested refund for the labor, they refused and did not even look at explanation from Highway Tire and Auto, and denied any wrong doing.
