            I went in person to cancel my membership on 11/13/21 and was told by the gentleman working the seat that my cancellation was effective on 11/14/21. The last day I would be able to use the club would be on 11/16/21. When I asked if I was going to be charged again I was told no that the cancelation was in prior to billing and I was all set and would not be billed again. Now here we are on 11/17/21 and I was once again charged for my membership. I called to explain my situation to a manager and was told that the young man was misinformed and should not have told me I would not be charged. I was advised that he was a new employee but no longer worked there and there was nothing more they could do for me. So I have the email confirming cancellation and that I can no longer use the facility as of 11/16 but am still being charged. The manager told me that I need to take it up with the bank because she can't do anything about it even though they are a franchise and solely responsible for the withdraw. So now I have to pay the bank $31 to place a stop payment on something That never should have been taken out to begin with since it was confirmed to be cancelled.
