Doorknob solicitation hung with clearly visible "No Solicitation" sign at the doorknob. This type of solicitation is nothing more than an advertisement to criminals that there is no one home. If the people working for Arborist Action Professional Tree Service, LLC can't read or do not understand "No Solicitation" why would I want anyone from this company on my property. I wanted to take a picture of the "salesman's" car tag but he backed all the way down the street (150 yards +/-) so I couldn't get a picture. What did he have to hide? Was he "casing" my house to return later? There are better ways to advertise without putting homeowners at risk. Be Better, do better. Will Never use this service.Review from James L

Had the guys out to have 2 trees removed at my Dads home. They were very fast and did a great job. Cost $5000. However, no one told my elderly father that he needed to tell them where the water lines were. He's been here for over 40 years. How would he know that? So yesterday, the guy came to grind the stumps. Immediately he hit a water main. Came and told us and went right back to grinding. He was rude and didn't even call the office. I had to call them myself. The owners wife basically told me they weren't responsible for anything underground and that it was in the contract. She said she'd check with her husband to see if anything could be done. I called back several times as the day was getting later. She ended up saying in so many words that they wouldn't do anything about it. We were also told that we'd get a call from the owner. He still hasn't contacted my Dad. Im completely disgusted by their customer service and would not recommend them to anyone. They care nothing about anything but collecting their check. We had to hire a company to come out this morning to the tune of an extra $968.00, to fix the plumbing. Extremely disappointed in the owners lack of communication and care.Review from Pat G

We had a very good experience with this company. They arrived when they said they would with a large crew to remove two trees that were to close to my house and to prune another one in the front of my yard. They cleaned up and hauled away all debris and returned to clear out the stumps within a short time. Thank you so much for your great tree service.Review from Nathaniel R

Total nightmare! On February 28th I agreed to let this company trim and cut 3 limbs off of different trees. The estimator said they could trim my large tree with a bucket truck for $1300 and removed one large and two medium limbs for a total of $2500. After not showing up two set days, they came late one afternoon. Without the bucket truck. They removed the three limbs within an hour, but couldn't complete the clean up due to a thunderstorm. I paid them $2000 with the written understanding they would return with the bucket truck and trim the large tree. 7 unreturned phone calls later (I had to call them) they said they would not be able to trim the tree. Plus, I would not be getting my $800 back for the untrimmed tree. They also broke a decorative tile and cracked a 12 inch section of my driveway with the bobcat. Beware...Review from Concerned Citizen

This company was in the area of Hammond, LA after Hurricane Ida and I called them after my sister saw one of their cranes in the area and took a picture of it to send to me so I can arrange for the fallen tree/limbs to be removed from the roof. I live in NYC and was helping my elderly parents after their house sustained damage from fallen trees/limbs. I called them on 9/1/2021. After a couple phone calls back and forth and after they sent someone to the house to assess the situation regarding the fallen tree/limbs, they gave me a price and we proceeded with the job. I paid before the job was completed as requested by Kevin the General Manager. The invoice they sent over text was very vague and simply stated 'Remove tree off house' - "about $1,000", 'Crane Hrs' - "$1,000", 'Haul all debris to Rd' - "$1,000", 'Total' "$3,000". With limited resources in the area due to the devastation and the urgency of getting the tree off and the hole tarped up - I didn't hesitate to move forward with the service. They charged the full $3,000 instantly after I called to make the payment, and I expected them to remove the fallen tree/branches from the roof as agreed, however they left a huge branch partly on the roof and side of the house. After I notified Kevin to report that this was observed, and I sent him pictures to prove it - he immediately responded and said he'd have someone come back and remove it and even apologized and admitted fault for it being left. Here is what he texted me on Tues. Sept. 7th: "I apologize for that I will have it taken care of asap. I don't know why that my crew did not get that and I will be calling them now to have it handled." A few days later after not hearing anything, I reached out to inquire and they've changed the narrative, stating that that branch wasn't included in the original quote - they said today (Thurs. Sept. 9th): "Yes I stated that it should have been removed if it was a part of the tree we was contracted to do by you and it is not a part of the tree it's a separate tree but again I will check to see if they was able to help yoy" So then I emphasized how it is a very large branch on the roof and that it should've been removed when his team was there, and I reminded him that I sent pictures initially, in which he agreed it should've been removed, and then he began to accuse me of lying and wanting stuff for free: "I deal with these situations all to often where ppl think that we are just gonna do stuff for them because they assumed since we was there we can do it unfortunately that's not how it works you was quoted a very fair price considering how big that tree lead was that was on the roof of your parents home and now you are assuming and expecting us to come back there and do something else that was not in the contract I'm sorry that u assumed we would do things for you but again my guys do what is in the contract for them to do." "I'm sure if they would have seen it they would have got it off so that also leads me to believe that the storms that came after probably caused it to brake off of the other tree that is next to the one that broke off on the roof." So not only did they lie and tell me they'd come back to handle it, but they also called me a liar and are assuming that we want more work done for free, simply because I was following up on what Kevin said he'd do. Also, for clarification, the contract doesn't state how many limbs/branches or contributing trees would or wouldn't be removed. Just plain bad business taking advantage of people in a crisis situation.Review from Robert H

Removed large water oak which had dying limbs. Within 1 1/2 hrs had tree down, cut up, loaded into truck, cleaned up and street blown clean. Even removed yard waste that had not been collected. Efficient and polite - the price was fair - said stump would be ground up within 5 days, they did it after 3 days. Nice job, thank you Jessen WReview from Lori T

I really wish I would have read these reviews prior to hiring for this job. I contacted them to discuss a tree that had excessive Spanish moss. I wanted to save the tree and get rid of the moss. They walked my property, pointed out everything they wanted to do, gave me a quote for $8,000.00. I agreed to the work. Like others have said, once they got here, oh boy did the price go up. They pointed out all this other stuff that would need to be done and increased the price to over $10,000.00! They did not provide me a new work order or estimate, even though I asked for it more than once. They damaged my neighbor's fence, my seamless gutter and a hose. They said they would replace the hose and damaged section of fencing, but they said the damage to the gutter was only 'cosmetic'. My home is bought and sold on how it looks, so yes, even if the damage is cosmetic, I will need to have it repaired and I will have to pay for it. It has been more about 45 days and still no resolution. Once you pay them, they are gone! The tree with the Spanish moss, the original reason I contacted them? Well, it's still there and it still has all the Spanish moss! In my opinion they are only interested in the big jobs that will get them the quick money.
